She had A Cunning Plan all along, to manipulate Whoever, to Save Life, The Universe and Everything. The end requires her to live eternally in the Shadowlands, or the Void, or something, with her thumb in the dyke to prevent any leaks of Bad Stuff. cf. Illidan.

If Sylvanas does indeed conquer Stormwind i think i just found the perfect song that should play for Horde players during the raid.
I wanna see this band play at the end of BlizzCon, and watch the reaction of every attandee with endless meme worthy facial close ups. Immortalizing the entire event forever.

Can’t you see it in the eyes of the young boy? The boy is in love! He ressurected his entire army in front of her, just to show her that he also likes necrology. But in a more happy sunshine way. 
I hope they overthrow the current leader and make gnomes or dwarves lead the alliance.

Sry, but worgen (except Greymane), Azeroth draenei (except Velen who rather spends time with his LF buddies), dwarves, and gnomes aren’t allowed to play a role in WoW except as canon fodder.
