What purpose? You bought a package of cards for a few bucks and got lucky… You think wearing that tabard turns into some kind of p*ssy magnet? At best someone will whisper “cool tabard” and that’s it.
Yeah wasting money to show off is indeed kinda sad ngl no need to be envious of idiocy
Wasting money to show off pixels in a video game is even more sad though
Lol sorry but you are just utter ignorant then if you think people or collectors spend money on some unique/limited collectors stuff only just to show off or to flex at others, nothing else. No point in explaining any further because you obviously dont understand meaning of collecting at all
If u buy an item that u want for the collection for ur own satisfaction then that’s fine but I’m talking about people who buy it to show off
Well and like what do you expect from them they should do with it, if someone buy for example some TCG in-game stuff? You expect that they will put it in bag/bank after and never use or wear it? Thats ridiculous, if I or somebody else will buy some similar stuff and then I will be using it, it doesnt automatically mean I only got it to flex or laugh at others, what kind of thinking is that…
Good for u I’ve seen plenty of people who do that
And sry i don’t like when people pay irl cash for pixels in a video game that they can get by playing the game it’s why I despise RMT boosting as well
TCG Items are just promotional items that were once use to sell the TCG Cards. They’re a retail product, just like anything on the in-game store.
They’re just getting re-used for another promotion.
Ashbringer and Atiesh are rewards from a very very long Vanilla quest line and quite an achievement to have received.
Whilst I don’t really understand why they needed to bring back the ZG items. I already had quite a few of them in my collection without even realising they were no longer available. But ZG wasn’t really the same level of rewards as Ashbringer or Atiesh.
However, if you really want Ashbringer, it was remodelled as a Legion Legendary. So you can wield it and feel cool. And there is some Speculation that a remodel of Atiest will be making its way to the trading post at some point.
The Original versions of those 2 items, should be kept locked away. So enjoy the remodelled ones.
Well I have seen many people with TCG mounts, many with Spectral Tiger, and I cannot say someone of them was “showing off” or “flexing” with it even if I was sometimes talking with them. I knew like 2-3 people who bought Spectral Tiger for real money (I think rest of owners just got it from TCG cards back then when it was actuall) but thats many years ago when it was not so high price for it and I cannot say neither about them they were just showing off, I remember one of them told me its the most beautiful according to him and he liked it very much, thats why he bought it.
Im not saying that theres no one who is only showing off with such stuff, but I personally dont know nobody.
There should be some definition of what you exactly mean by showing off or how you describe it - if someone is irritated by just only seeing somebody riding around on Spectral Tiger in Orgrimmar doing his own business, then its probably just a common envy.
Each time a TCG gatcha item is given away for free or close to free, it should be a time to revel
