277K people seem to disagree
I am not a big fan of them because they are too lax on Blizzard but they can be funny at times

Here’s a template, feel free to use it anyone

Okay guys,
So we need to talk about [PvP/Covenants/Raidfinder/Class Balance]. I for one and I think that [Everyone/the majority of the playerbase/those who care about the game/real players] also think that it is time we said that we’re sick of [Blizzard/The Devs/Blues/RF Heroes/Casual Scurbs/Tryharders] ruining what this game is becoming!! I think what we can all agree on is that [Personal opinion] needs to be implemented into the game otherwise [everyone will quit/the game will die]. Please don’t reply to this post if you don’t have [Curve/above 2.4k arena/above 3.5k rio] because you clearly don’t know what you are talking about.

Upped my donations last week. Hard to find quality content like they make.

Imagine reacting to normal people comment when they cried about asmongold “harassing” them, by simply watching their videos on steam.

Yikes

I haven’t enjoyed their content since Taliesin started ranting and calling people less-than-polite things when they called him out for putting false blame on Asmongold.

I have. Some months ago.

What does it mean to be featured in their skit?

Is it actually discussing the issues the poster raises or is it generally just a “hur dur look at this person with an opinion, omg loser” type thing?

Yeah it’s just a quick draw-and-shoot, going through multiple usually over-the-top quotes. No names though. It’s all anonymous. No name shaming.

True.

That sorta thing is reserved for the streams. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

This is a very biased and unfair way to look at what happened.
Because more than THAT happened. People send them horrible messages. And Asmongold was like ‘I don’t want you to send this and this’. I’m pretty sure he’s heard of reverse psychology.

He’s acting innocent, whilst if you read between the lines, he’s definitely saying stuff that’s
 well
bad. I know, because I’ve perfected this very art right here on the forums. :sunglasses: :innocent:

Well that was not really about asking him self. But about his toxic playerbase. If you get death threats from a certain playerbase off you gonna ask him to not react on them anymore

Good for them

You do you. Personally I wouldn’t qualify regurgitating the front page of wowhead and mmo-champion as “quality content”, but that’s me.

When they make one of the dumbest hot takes I’ve ever seen and start to rant about a SIGNIFICANTLY better content creator and their fanbase though, is what makes someone go from having an indifferent opinion about them, to what I do now.

So say nothing? Be seen as condoning it.
Say to do it? Look horrible and more will do it.

I get the impression you won’t be happy unless he never streams again XD

Don’t really know who it is tbh, so no. Some random streamers that gets an article on Wowhead now and then. I’m sure they’re as fun and interesting to listen to as all the others.

I am not going to say that some people were not rude to them, but my honest opinion is that the situation was really exaggerated, I really doubt people will fill your social media, EMAIL, etc with death threats, just because he disagreed with you on the video.

Some ahole did? Probably yes, but who guarantees you that some of their subs/follower don’t go out of their way to insults people he disagrees with?

When you have a big viewer base, it does not matter how much you try to keep it clean, you will always get some that go full extremist mode and be rude/toxic.

Also can I be honest with you?
Instead of putting up all the drama, he should have told asmongold to stop make reaction of their videos.
(instead of hosting him while he was doing it)

Oh, I still remember how often Taliesin got spanked for this.
The more important takeaway was back then that certain people get permanent TL3 for free for doing absolutely nothing which is unfair. Daestra opened a topic about this back then which also gained some traction.

I don’t mind him being not being a genuine human being because it does not affect my RL. However, I’m more bothered how wowhead can support them while ignoring ALL other content creators. Their content isn’t this good to justify this uneven promotion tactics.

I’ve already watched their content before it appears there. I don’t visit mmo-champion so no clue what they do.

That’s your opinion. I’m of opinion that if you have a fan base that sends people death threats, you should be doing something about that big time.

I think there is a lot more to it then just that.

All of these “content creators” have no real experience with having followers or how to interact with others and their followers.

It doesn’t matter who reacts to what, when, where or how many. You put your face on the internet, sooner or later you’re going to get bombarded by negativity and how you chose to act will eventually trigger a lot of bad emotion towards you.

Example: People make fun of Asmongolds appearance, habits, pronunciation, literally everything
but it’s how you act on that negativity and part of is understanding that is how anonymous gamers on the internet are.

Asmongold turned it into memes and content, instead of getting toxic and throwing blame.

But that’s actually not why I don’t like Taliesin and Evitel. What bothers me, is the type of content they produce and for who. Their channel feels like it is based around collectors and roleplayers only. Their lore theories and speculations are as off as Bellulars but whatever. “The new Tinker Class is already in the game”

Yes, they have a fun sketch in the beginning and then they explain “systems” or “lore” very casually. But they just don’t go that extra mile to explain how this reflects on high M+ keys, raids, RBG or Arena.

Because to me, gameplay > everything else. Their content is the exact opposite, there is no way you can get a better understanding of classes or personal performance from their content.

Don’t misunderstand, I don’t wish to hate on them. I think their channel appeals to a large fanbase and good for them. Keep doing, what you are doing. I wish them the very best of luck with the channel and hope it grows.

It just
 isn’t
 for me.
