After months of debates, having people still hiding behind “We had mage boost in Classic so a paid boost is k” and still thinking that there is no difference betwee the mage boost and the paid boost shows that some folks have thinking capabilities far too limited for this discussion.
It’s hard to use logic to convince children that lollipops are unhealthy because they won’t see beyond “it tastes good”.
It’s pretty much the same case here.

More mounts is cool and I like cool stuff.
Just please blizzard give us wotlk style pet and mount tab, another change that affects no one in a bad way, we all want to collect, even if some think they don’t .

In TBC there was a collectors edition and it only gave a ingame pet. Mounts at this level give advantage over players that do not have it.
Original CE was awesome it came with a mousepad and other cool stuff. I still use it Today

Tbh not cancelling your sub is enabling microtransactions. Playing the game is enabling them.
They’re doing this. Your still paying your still playing.
They will keep doing this providing your gonna keep paying your sub and just whining on the forums.
Wanna stand against jt? Unsub. Encourage others to unsub. Grab enough of a audience to force blizzard to take notice.

You are delusional if you think there wont be any pushback against WoW Whales. I have been playing classic since the beginning and most people on the server feel the same, my entire guild for example, people with mounts will get camped and excluded from dungeons/raids. People like you in the forums dont represent majority of the classic community, you are a minority (mostly whales with 0 integrity or principles, just happy to give Bobby another 20 mil bonus in the next quarter)

Not only that; they might also get an extra Hearthstone (a TCG item I believe) which is advantageous in a game with very little teleports. I’d hate it if the mount ends up as a 100 % mount at lvl 40 as well.
Extra hearthstone always shared cd with original one. Unless in TBC they didn’t but I doubt that.

MTX in Classic will kill the soul of the original game. Furthermore, if Blizz starts implementing more needless ‘changes’ aka money grabs to Classic, it will incentivize Private Servers to try and revive that OG game’s soul again. Heck, now the PS can even get their hands on the actual updated code from Blizz’s Classic game and they can cut out the unnecessary changes, or make actual changes the community wants.
If this happens, who gets screwed in the end? It’s us, the Classic community, as in a best case scenario, we get divided between Classic and the Private Servers who cater to our desires. Blizz still has their MTX/boost money and the stakeholders’ smiles during the quarterly update have never been as bright.
I never post on forums or anything but if you have to speak up, speak up. Make noise, and a lot of it, if you care about this game and the future of our games. Blizzard, listen to the audience that served you well for 20+ years and utilize some long term vision. Retail WoW is dying for a reason.

“Hey it’s fine as long as it doesn’t impact the part of the game i care about” instead of caring about the game as a whole.
Blizzard are smart to monetize their game it’s not a small company.
They will monetize WoW with services/features that look like totaly optionnal and with no impact on the game but if you think a bit it does.
I don’t really care as long as it stay a 1 time boost and a simple mount but it’s not a reason to welcome every monetization in Classic.
