i would honestly be ashamed of myself if i were the one to design or greenlight this event, just on the basis of the 90 minute timer.
the events are lagfests because everyone is forced to do it at the same time, and if you’re a few minutes late, tough luck. gotta wait another 90 minutes. it’s just garbage.
Blizz, do better. this is embarassing.

The event bugged out in Dustwallow Marsh and the boss never spawned. Can’t even farm the normal mobs cause they don’t exist.
Also in Northrend after killing the Lich King, i got no memories of Northrend.
Im so happy i bought 3 days early access to unfinished product and long qeue. This is litterally stealing money from their customers. When i can access tww new content with my glorious 3 days, i would regret it since the low quality content and bug fiesta

Direct result of getting rid of their QA teams to cut costs making their players the FREE testers who, in WoW’s case, pay for the privilege of testing the game.
Result? Dog excrement buggy releases that spent the next few weeks patching up bugs at the detriment of the players’ enjoyment.
And we the players are at fault because we do 6-12 month subs, pre-orders, etc. so they keep getting away with doing it all the time.

People are crying because this is the least inspired pre-expansion event many have partaken in. Running around desperately trying to get a few kills for few bits of currency o.O If you enjoy this, cool, many aren’t lol.

Did this event about 5 times today. From that 5, for the last boss only get 1 time loot and 1 time 500 shards (officially 500 shard / last boss kill). But there was the biggest lagg what i ever seen, a lot of bug (last boss did not spawn etc) and a lot of things what is acceptable if this is an underground indie company’s first game. Oh no, still not… becouse they will not publish it until its good…
And you know what is the biggest problem? I see everywhere complains, fudd and everything about this event. (Here, on reddit, forums, fb). And nobody cares about it. No recent blue post, no answer, nothing.

I waited 2 times x 1,5 hours but the boss is not spawning

I waited for Onyxia, I waited for some FIrelord in Searing Gorge… but nothing.
Am I doing something wrong?
if the boss is already killed it wont re-spawn, you have to be there from the start and partake in the thing

Some a bit wait. Like I got King Lich spawn and cant hit. But I keep spams Auto attack and got target.
Since loading so long by lag. Same spawn take long, try stay
How is doing what their boss tells them to do “failing at their job”, exactly?
If you got 10k in one day playing ‘casually’ you have been playing all day long.

they want you to figure out what to do with the bank Ulterior thing meanwhile waiting for the boss event to spawn.

Ignoring the fact that that is stupid, especially when it comes to bugs, stuff doesn’t work like that. Someone will head a small ‘council’ if you would to discuss how something should be made. The meeting is normally with 10+ people who decide how something should be done, such as an event.
The boss rarely ever vetoes something unless they think it’s utterly stupid. This means anyone who developed this either didn’t care or agreed with it at the time.
Game Development doesn’t work how you think it works. This isn’t a situation of your boss telling everyone to do something like in retail. It’s a creative endeavour and therefore requires agreement with everyone else.
Besides, the ‘boss’ told you the excuse is rubbish. I can get higher-up exes, but they rarely get involved in game development.
