Good thing you show your clowness by posting on a classic character.
Well, WoD didnt help either.
However, MoP had around 10 Mil subs - Legion got nowhere near that amount at any point.

I miss AP power … Titanforge is whatever to me, if it exists great! if it doesnt, also great!
You can still farm it.
Go and farm Azerite, it’s still available.
Legion had AP and population has been replenished during it.
SL didn’t have AP and population dropped significantly.
…And what do you call Anima?
And population dropped because SL was trash. And the population dwindled again with BFA, and then didnt bring many back for SL, which in turn tanked the population even harder.
Idk cosmetic/ mission table almost fully ignorable thing.
Pretty sure you needed to get it.
For transport network and covenants events indeed. There was no character power tied to the anima.
There were covenant though, and their garbage borrowed power.
Nah, I didn’t really do much in regards to anima until they had turned up anima gains quite the bit.
I am perfectly happy with the absence of those two pieces of junk systems
You weren’t forced to grind anima for power. Most definitely not ap
AP removal - good
Titan forging removal - good
now all that is left to remove is the good damn vault, which is very similar to titan forging but on a weekly lockout to get those 447 items (if you can that is)
all those things were introduced with the start of legion and later when Ion took over and it was all bad decisions. It made the game worse and they realized it by removing it again later. Now they still tried to iterate the 4th(?) time on the stupid vault and NO it is still complete crap. The way you earn rewards, the loot pool, the ilvl increase compared to standard rewards, all garbage.
If you factor in pvp vault it is even worse. Good rng makes you MUCH stronger than the person that just do casual pvp or had bad luck.
Good design? I don’t think so.
It is based on fomo garbanzo and forces you to do stuff every week on the vaults pace (8 dungeons / raids / pvp) or fall behind
People who put in more effort, should by default get better stuff than the ‘‘casual’’
people who afk in clown fiesta shuffle for some rounds should be rewarded better than those who are actively participating the Battlegrounds.
absolutely.
Good that we agree that casuals should get less than non-casuals.
Great.
whatever floats your boat
So you think people who put in zero effort, should get the same or better things than those who actually put in effort?
and how is afking in one game mode putting in more effort than actively contributing in another game mode?
the vault has little to do with effort = better reward.
a person who did 1 M+8 can get a better reward than a person who did 8 M+17 dungeons.
Then we also have:
A person who did some time walking ez mode dungeons can get a better reward than a Mythic raider that didn’t get the item to drop.
In pve I agree that the person that does harder content to a degree should get a better reward. do we have that? nope
In pvp the field should be even and the person who plays more/better should at best get their stuff faster but they should not get more power to stomp those casuals.
Do we have that? No.
Those who put effort and show skill are rewarded with better stuff in the cosmetic area.
And they shouldn’t.
And they shouldn’t.
We should.
You can’t claim that every single person does this.
