The Amani troll megathread

Yes we need extra races. They are not jungle trolls. If Zandas get their own slot then so should all the others.

That would be way too much investment for something, that can be coded in a few weekends by a few interns

When the alliance gets Amani, do you think we’ll see some in Stormwind as city guards? I hope so. They won’t even need plumed helmets, they can just have blue mohawks!

He’s the best.

And you are not. Your fanatism will not be tolerated.

No. You need to stop.

I’ll stop when the alliance gets Amani, Crushridge and Gordunni.

No you won’t. You will stop now. This is a Horde thread. Amani for the red team. Contribute or leave.

Jusst to be clear, Marius is NOT Me
I don’t want the Amani in the alliance
Nor the Ogre for that matter, just pointed out from Lore and WarCraft history perspective, what would be logical and would made more sense :eyes:

And I provided you arguments which clearley say that speaking historically, Amani, Ogres and Goblins were allies to the Horde. Willing or not they are part of the OG experience if you grew up with the second game like I did.

Thats your problem
Blinded by nostalgia, ignoring the original Warcraft, then what came after Warcraft 2, lore, events and everything, desperartly clinging to a past that is gone since two decade (since WC3 came out 2002)
…and what will NEVER return, no matter the childish rants and delusions
Try the present… or the future
They are not that bad
Sure, the past is sometimes better, but it is gone
Treasure the memory, but sooner you realise it is just a watercolored memory the better. For you.
It is impossible to bring back that past, the best you could hope is to live in the present and build a future. No, trying to drag back the past and rebuild it is not building the future
Save yourself a dissapointment - constant dissapointment, it should have been obvious even to you, what you want will never return, it is gone since twenty years and the world moved on, and in game, 40 years passed - and let it go!
I will leave your threads… these are just echoes in an empty dark room; everyone already gone
Not worth anymore time

The alliance gets their WC2 team. Why can’t Horde do the same thing?

Erevien, you Horde legend.

Amani Trolls would be great, but your kind are the reason they would never consider joining the Horde.

One last
Becasue it is not the same Horde
That Horde failed and a new formed from the alliance of the Orcs led by Thrall, the Tauren led by Cairne and the Darkspear led by Vol’jin. Their path and future is different
On the same time, the Grand alliance is gone too… what we have now is another alliance. They don’t have their WC2 setup either, the Humans of Lordareon are dead and in the Horde, the High Elves are in the Horde for example under new name and a fistfull of void mutants hardly the same and have half-mechanical monstorsities, werewolves, aliens (regular and fanatic variants) with an added ex-rebel dwarves with dark past in their ranks now, with some “savage” elves who are not that fan of to be members to begin with…
(and pandaren and dragonkins in both)

Humans, Dwarfs, Gnomes, high elves. That was the original setup. And they are sitll part of the alliance. Even playable. What else could you ask for?

Amani, vulpera and ogres.

See this is why I said you ignoring facts and Lore
They were not just Humans, nor just Elves, or Dwarves or Gnomes, it goes deeper… but arguing about lore and history is pointless
You simply decided you will ignore what don’t fit in or what would ruin your dreamworld
…as I said:

I have been in this game for 24 years. I know my lore well enough.

I think the gnome answered your question

Blood elves and Darkspear, which both contributed to the Downfall of the Amani capital and villages, are the biggest reason they ain’t horde. Especially Blood elves.

So long as silvermoon stands in Quel’thalas, the Amani will never join the horde. This is how it’s always been ever since the Highborne got into the woods and got in conflict with the native trolls.

However, Revantusk are very possible and they are technically Amani. They just left the empire and decided to focus on helping the Horde. Their appearance is also the same.

The gnome is biased. I won’t consider this take.
