So the pre-patch is essentially only 2 weeks… Massive disappointment.
Especially for those wanting to collect all the new transmog and heirloom trinket.
On top of the trinket being an assembled RNG drop from each different boss makes it even worse. Should have been purchasable with the new currency

The hell you need catch-up gear for? The intro gives gear that’s equal or better and you’ll replace it during questing anyway in the first hour. The complaints some people have are mind-boggling.

Wdym fated raids, season 4 is gone on the 25th. Unless you want to level a new character, basically nothing to do.

For alts. You can’t queue dungeons without minimum ilvl.
Fated raids will stay in the pre patch. Even better, all raids will be fated at the same time.

That means that DF leveling is tuned with season 4 gear in mind. Our conversation of few days ago yielded no concrete answer.
Not really better tbh. For those still wanting to farm Sylvanas/Jailer for mount, it’ll be much worse.
Forcing all the raids to be fated is an awful decision. Or they should have made it possible to disable fated so you can still do it normal for mounts/tmog or whatever.

You can turn the fated modifier off you know?
There is a ZM console at the start of the raid where you can switch.
The console does not disable fated. It enables/disables a second fated affix on each boss.
I don’t think that is the case for DF. Dungeons will still only reward 219 at 61. Quests likely below that.
It has to be that way, so a fresh out of SL leveling char (at 148 ilvl) is not overwhelmed.
Thank God Shadowlands is coming to an end.

And like I said the intro to dracthyrs gives gear equal or better than catchup so you’ll be able to q dungeons just the same?
Presumably that will be skip-able in future 
. Look, i’ve leveled alts recently and i had to buy SL greens in order to be able queue for dungeons.
Sure, you can do questing until you get min ilvl. it’s not end of the world i agree, but if i can go strait into dungeons that would be great.

your not another one of these people that believe WoTLK should be given more time before retail get anything by chance.
Read the media around the game. Read the beta testers. Its not rushed, its Not too early and its most defintly fine to launch. this is the most complete the games been in a decade this close to launch 100%
So there’s nothing really in phase 1 content wise at all? Apart from solo shuffle which to me sounds more like a euphemism for another solo activity
