I did check my memory. Most recent prepatch event (SL) lasted 2 weeks.
For those who are interested: pre-patch launch lengths.
Sometimes they did give us a longer time period to enjoy events. It would have been nice if they followed those best practices.

Yes, pre-patch is the time when we can rest in game and donât do previous grind to just check changes. Especially after the BFA, SL with ton of temporary powers.
I donât see nothing bad if players will have evokers and pre-patch even earlier, much earlier. We will just farm it, have some fun and test new powers in different combinations.
Be scared that someone will be tired of it and will start to flame - bad move, rly.
I can understand if: week 1- new UI, new talents tree; 2nd week - evokers, test them, skills e.t.c; week 3 - pre-patch event (but better that itâll start on week 2).
I donât want to believe that marketing department donât understand how players want to see the pre-patch time. Itâs just soâŚunprofessional. And if itâs true⌠Itâs very sad that that such workers just be in game industry, they continue to kill it.

Why bring it out so early? You did this with the previous expansions and it was an epic fail i see a pattern here, just take your time with the expansion

Why even bother with part 1 on 26th Oct? All we get is the new UI and Talent Trees. We donât need three weeks to get used to these.
One week for new UI and Talent Trees and Three weeks for actual content would be the better way to go.

good cause all my characters are ilvl 200 at most⌠and i dont plan to get catchup gear.
this is just a sign that DF will be another timegated mess just like shadowlands.
Are we getting the SL pvp cosmetic vendors (the mark of honour ones) with the pre patch, and if so what phase?

Maybe itâs just me, but to me it seems there is complete lack of hype.
There is basically one week to pre patch, and few seems interested.
Shadowlands really tanked the game.
Season 4 was cool, but didnât bring back hype or excitement.
Most people i know havenât pre ordered or really feel like returning.
The damage is done.
Breaking the prepatch into phases seems like âyeah guys itâs unreadyâ statement, based on their recent releases.
