Not true, i can buy your stuff out or bid on them whenever either price is under the vendor price on the AH with the real time scanner in Auctioneer addon. I can also have ur products in a snatch list in Auctioneer using it like every 5 seconds or so.
So don’t jump to conclusions and falsely report ppl who use Auctioneer.
the people that do this also happen to be online 24/7, just go experiment yourself, find a bot seller, put one of his mats on at 4-5am, watch him buy it n seconds. he is not using “just” auctioneer mate
I’m one of the ppl who use those options in Auctioneer “m8” i’m NOT a bot, i’m just a normal player! So maybe you want to stop hyper focusing on ideas that somehow got fixated in your brain and read my mentioned usage of the addon again and think “oh right, legit players can actually use those options also” it’s not like these guys who made that addon have made a special secret one for botting noobs.
100% I managed to stuff one of them with Mageblood potions - small profit for me and he insta bought out over 1000
mageblood potions… and is still stuck with them now because he dont sit on the AH with the elixir sellers.
The other dead giveaway that they are a bot, is that they relist their fishing items at 30 min intervals… oh… and they are logged in at the AH 24/7 - ALWAYS in a group so that their auto clicker does not accidentally accept a part invite / summon… Worst thing is, Blizzard DO ban them. 3 bans on 2 servers and they reappear again within a day with a new name with the same items… And I am sure every regular player makes sure to hold a second account just for the purpose of selling sniped items.
Those people saying “it’s legit!” yeah… sniping is legit and yeah… people do it. The difference is, these guys are using an autoclicker alongside the snipe function so they are literally AFK farming gold. Which is why when you report them, they do eventually get a ban and you get a nice in game mail from blizzard.
Worst part? You have lik 50 chars of text to explain in the ticket… you report all the selling accounts (it’s pretyy obvious since the same name has 100’s of these items for sale) but they never really follow the trail.
Just download AH addon for Light’s sake! Auctionator or TSM would do just fine.
