A lot of games have been doing this for years.
Sometimes it feels like people on here have only played WoW ever.
Life seems a lot of harder with this way of thinking.
Other people having luck is not toxic towards you.

I think it is related to players being able to collect a companion pet.
Unfortunately it isn’t a battling one.

These kind of messages have been around since the beginning… lvl max achievments, boss downs, and legendary stuf. You know, to share with the community.
If you can’t stand it, go back on solo games where you’ll only see you own stuff. Don’t forget to turn off wi-fi, or you’ll get achievments from your contacts 
This. I’m happy for all you evokers out there getting a new toy, but the emote should be Dragon Isles-wide at most. Being in Orgrimmar and “hearing a roar” is annoying and frankly unlikely to reasonably be possible.
