that may have been true in the past with WoD and legion mission tables, but not in BfA. i’ve not seen anything more than about 125g (125g~ bonus) so far, and thats on my main. my alts wouldn’t have things skilled up enough to guarantee the 250g. the only raw gold ive seen so far is the 2K emissary reward, but blizz already said this was to compensate for people buying coins for reroll as the first one costs 2K so you would already be out of pocket?

ok, there are several gold sink mounts in BfA, but if you did not already have the gold from legion, you will be hard pressed to make the gold unless you are an AH wizard.

and dunno where £11 is from. £20 card gives you 2 months in uk (as you’re using sterling). either way, the token is unbalanced in blizz’s favor. unless you want the in game gold, why would you pay £17 for 1 month time, when you can pay £3 more and get 2 months time.

i’m far more digital to actually use a monthly card :stuck_out_tongue: I pay 11.26 £ monthly fee from my digital account. i don’t want pay for more time, i don’t know if in 6 months I’ll still be here.

Because at the end of the day they get more reason to make mounts available through irl money than to implement mounts that make people want to do actual content, thus, less reason for them to actually make enough content

hmmm my reward is saying 2500 artifact power (not azerite! lol) do you have to complete it first? thats a pain cause then you cant see which weeks its worth doing or not. but even with that i dunno. i have about 19 110’s during legion. i only have 2 120’s. the time investment is a lot more than just doing mission tables like previously. dunno.

Again :smiley: you’re missing the point… it is actual content as someone HAS to farm that gold in one way or another. someone buys a Token yeah, not your problem, but you have to FARM 170k gold or whatever for that :slight_smile: double that up if you want a mount you like. it is content mate :stuck_out_tongue:

People should be able to spend their money on whatever they want tbh. And plus you can earn gold ingame and convert to balance now

10 blood stained bones are sold for 250 gold on my realm,
Siren’s sting 180 gold for 5,
Riverbud 125 gold for 5,
10 gloom dusts 300gold,
2 umbra shards 350gold
1 veiled crystal 400gold.
with the amount of welfare gear nowadays it’s easy gold.
Really you can’t think of anything to make gold? in 2 weeks i made 200k by farming weeds and enchants. now I stopped too boring :stuck_out_tongue: but hey that’s me

Ok, no extra gold… people can’t farm because they work and they physically can’t, they quit. the more they quit the more the game fail. the more it fail the more you’ll end up having no more game.
EDIT and trust me… there are a lot of people complaining they can’t farm gold… above an example

I don’t understand why are people annoyed at others buying tokens and converting them to balance?
Do people not realize that this is a savior for some people, especially those with low budget? Affording 13ish euros a month CAN be hard for people who don’t have actual income, so farming for tokens in-game and getting game time that way is wonderful, as it allows people without the ability to constantly pay for sub fees to actually play the game.

People are also allowed to spend money where they want and how they want.
Instead of being salty about the store mounts, show your protest by not buying it with actual real life money.
You can still farm it in game and spend that money on tokens.

People who buy tokens and sell them support people who can’t afford monthly fees and support people who can’t buy store mounts with real life money.
Simple as that.

Checked some of your examples.
10 Blood stained bones goes for 78
5 Riverbud goes for 65 gold
2 umbra shards goes for 120
1 Veiled crystal goes for around 300
Fishing isn’t even worth it anymore, Fangtooth has tanked to around 12 per fish,
Midnight salmon has tanked to around 25-30 per fish etc etc.

And what exactly is wrong with that? I prefer farming my gold in game, but if someone wants to buy tokens or store mounts with cash that’s fine as well. Those mounts are purely cosmetic and have no effect on gameplay anyway.

Cool I guess, but I refuse to spend any real money on stuff like this and I’m not a big gold farmer, so I’ll pass on this one. Would be cool if they introduced rewards like this for doing something cool in-game as well. Giving a recolor for 400 mounts was a pretty big slap in the face for some people.

Personally speaking a winged fox looks bloody stupid.

However why is there such ill feeling to people who do buy it? is it affecting you in any way?

For example even though it’s isn’t store bought I like doing the WoW secret item hunts like Baal the goat but that flying brain mount just looks bloody awful so i won’t be doing it. But I also don’t feel the need to berate players who do have it.
