yes, I know. Because I talk about things I have played, not things I have never played and assume I get a valid opinion on.
you are again right i donāt understand how are you doing this
Just a minor correction here: I donāt.
I donāt agree with Blizzardās game direction as it is - which I would describe as a Seasonal solo-driven ARPG experience - but I also donāt think reimagining WoW as it was in the old days would be right for the game.
I have always held the belief that WoW should lean into its MMORPG nature and offer a content experience that brings people together to partake in epic fantasy experiences on a large scale.
If I am critical of the game, it is simply because it is charting a course that I grow increasingly dissatisfied with.
I think Iāve been pretty consistent in that message for a long time, so Iām not sure why you claim that I have a fascination for something else entirely. I donāt even play Classic WoW.
Thatās not what WoW was about though.
Functionally, it was like that at least since WotLK, once new raids every patch stopped requiring attunement from the old one, and badges started allowing catchup gear to be procured pretty easily (TBC badges were somewhat slower and didnāt grant nearly as much gear). You didnāt go to Naxx during TotC days, either. These days itās just spelled out more clearly with seasons in tooltips and so on.
Iām really looking forward to starting the new season. The manic start with the gearing curve is always good fun.
uh i need to stop slacking and finaly push for KSM. also farm a bit of plunderfail because i still miss some things there and just doing daily will give me only like 15k plunder till end of event
Everyone I know is playing again and is excited for 11.1.
See the problem with your anecdotal evidence yet?
You have Delves, which are vastly superior to Thorgast 75% of the time.
Professions are far more engaging than they were in Shadowlands.
You have Skyriding Races.
Maybe everywhere. Note the word everywhere, regardless if they are free or not. This game game has infinitely increasing M+ challenges and Mythic raiding, which is one of the most difficult group coordination gameplay on the market.
I your own admission you havenāt yet exhausted all the content available for you. How about you stop defending your own bad approach to this game?
It didnāt make your gear obsolete. The first few weeks your gear was still the best as you slowly build up badged. Even newly dinged alts would do alt runs through older raid.
This whole seasonal thing started in Legion.
People with 630+ gear will have the equivalent of Veteran 3/8 or 4/8 gear at the start of next season (Mythic raiders with their 639s will have something along the lines of Champion 2). This is far from āobsoleteā, itemlevel like that allows you to jump straight into current content without any prep.
People with 619 gear, yeah, their stuff will be obsoletedā¦in the same way someone with TotC 10 normal gear would be at release of ICC (going from ilvl 232 to 251).
The only reason youād run through older raids is because any gear from there would still be better than your questing greens and blues, and you couldnāt get gear from anywhere else. These days there are other catchup and progression systems in place.
