Why stop there? Why not make new characters 120 the moment you log in?

Wow, an extension that is vastly longer than the initial planned time. That was unexpected.
But I can also understand it’s not too much of a leaning-out-the-window, considering Shadowlands leveling speed is to be significantly faster than current normal anyway.
Thanks Blizz, extended XP buff is perfect - i’ll maybe use the rep buff for Allied races but i’m going to enjoy the levelling of quite a few new classes. As someone who’s been in lockdown for 3 weeks with another 3 weeks in front of me this couldn’t have come at a better time tbh.
It might even have saved me a few quid in potential game purchases… at least that’s what I’m going to be telling the wife

Guess my cynicism has run too deep for too long for me to believe this was a reality.
Got my brother back into wow after a long break and this was the reason for his stay, but hearing the end coming, he already thought about quitting. This changed everything.

Also, let’s be real; the community outcry was a small portion of the reason for their decision, but the actual returning subs got the message through loud and clear.
Some might want to work on their 100 Exalted Reputations Achievement 
It’s pretty useless for that. Just Legion & BfA reps, and not the latest two, so no good for Ogri’la or Ravenholdt or the BG reps. 
It works for BfA and Legion reps. I have a few friends who have slacked on both, they all count towards the 100. I’m sorry if it was implied I meant older reps
I might actually take advantage and finally exalt my Alliance with the reps I’m missing on that side.
This is amazing news, I’ve come back into the expansion late and came home from work at 2am thinking I’m going to have to stay awake just to take advantage of thexp boost in the last 2 days. Now I don’t. I’m going to bed, now I can relax a bit

Congratulations, Blizzard, you’ve finally ruined WoW for me! I’ve hated Winds of Wisdom from the beginning but decided to accept it because it was just a month, but since it isn’t, I’m out permanently. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no one will miss me and my fee, but that’s beside the point. Most players clearly appreciate this and of course you have to listen to them, but you can listen to all by making it possible to opt-out for those who just really enjoy the journey and take pride in their high-level chars; not everyone wants to rush through the levels. Well, thanks for many hours of fun… and for doing this shortly before my game-time expires.
