Things that makes wow bad

I’m all for it. Except…

Don’t we already have a way to play this game for free? With tokens, I mean. If you’re hardcore enough and can make a decent amount of gold, you can buy game time. You can also transfer that into Blizzard Balance and also get future expansions for free. I’ve also heard you can use that Balance to effectively get other Blizzard game.

I mean, I agree and I also want to play this game for free (I do in a way, I buy game time but don’t have enough saved up for the expansion packs). But I don’t think Blizzard are that generous.

When i play my rogue i can 1shot things easy, maybe u need to try harder.

Ye its overrated, if were taking passive damage being low in pvp as an example.
Rogues autoattacks wont do much damage it should more or less not be called an attack at all and more likely be named “pat with fork”

Ain’t nobody killing elites mobs in one hit you big kidder. Hence why I didn’t say “random stag” as regular mobs literally die as my fat panda butt jumps on them.

Them elite boys though, they be a bit more resilient.

I actually mention this

And they will need to finance their game in other ways then a montly fee,
a bigger shop, with way more utility, mounts, skins, other cosmetics, new services etc.

I dont think Blizzard is generous at all, quite the opposite actually.
But i think subs declining is a result of timegated content, and this creates the need of store mounts, and 6 months sub sellouts, and higher prices on their services etc.
So i genuinly think this is the path were heading at sooner or later,
Im having a hard time seeing the game getting marketed and attracting players if its not going to be free in the near future.
Were already watching a ship sinc and soon its time to make drastic actions in order to change its course.

I have secret powers and knowledge that is only accessible by me,
I stole it from medivhs library when i raided karazhan back in 2007.
Big power !

I mean we don’t necessarily need everything to be top notch relevant.
But lets say the ilvl difference between 9.0 raid and 9.1 raid would be just 3-6 ilvls.
This would make the previous content at least not completely irrelevant and maybe even keeps some special items BiS for something.

Another option is obviously to remove all catch up mechanics for gear. This would ensure that you need to run old content first to catch up in gear to run current content (thats how it was in TBC and classic, I think?)
Now people will certainly complain that they cannot play the current game

Peeps: The game is terrible…make it F2P, then I will keep playing it.

Or maybe that they do…

We give them feedback (as a community) not only in game, but also on social media, on forums, etc. They know perfectly well what we want, so they can’t play it outside as if they had no idea…

“We heard the player feedback and we feel that…” - basically, we know you’re unhappy with our game but we don’t care because we have our own vision of how things should be run and you have no say in the matter.

On top of that, there are those who believe player feedback is rubbish, which I disagree on a fundamental level. But I already had that argument in a different thread that went nowhere.

Your remark doesnt change what i said.

It is alt friendly. It could be more alt friendly but its not entirely opposed to it. Also you said, again, about there being no privileges for alts. Which is flat out wrong. This point is done.

I can see you linked Glad on another accounts toon (if thats yours, but lets pretend it is. Whyever someone runs two accounts but whatever floats your boat. In general i will disregard it as otherwise i could just link any toon and say thats mine. So i could say im a Rank 1 glad on another account now and you would have to accept it.)

Also my personal xp is in this regard irrelevant because we are discussing raw numbers and the stats the difference of lego ilvl provides. It is not as big as you make it out to be. It is a case of “i want it and it helps but i dont necessarily need it”.

Then you have a sustained dmg meta. Which i would like more. Unless you want more frequent burst windows compared to now.

The raw stats it provides is noting to burst ones head over. The artifical cap per week of it is annoying and that causes people to despise it because there is no real reason behind other than timegating for the sake of timegating. At least after the world first race is done.

Could be a misunderstanding. Cba checking now since its been days.

Hall of Fame Alliance. Thats not top 100. It was Top 100 for Alliance but it wasnt top 100 world.

There is only one thing that makes WoW bad- the game is no longer designed from world perspective.

I 100% agree. I know I will not touch most alts after they hit 60. I cannot face doing the covenant campaigns again, regardless of how much I love them. I have 6 max now, and I try to keep at least one of each covenant up to date, but it’s so much work. I can’t even face grind anima for Oribos Portal on my alts. There is still enough for me to do, and levelling an alt army via bgs will take me another year, lol, but it really is not alt friendly.

I know they’re adding soul ash transfer (with a fee), but I’m mostly miffed that Covenant progress isn’t account wide. It hurts extra because I was almost done on my Night Fae monk, but due to 9.1 (Revival now working with mastery) I finally relented and went Kyrian, and had to regrind all that anima. And now, in order to get all the achievements I have to grind anima for Night Fae all over again on my Druid alt. I’m doing it, but it should not be necessary.

Alt friendly in my mind should mean that overarching features, like unlocking Covenant sanctum upgrades, which are purely cosmetic should be account wide. Renown can still be per character, but why do I have to grind over 100,000 anima just to get path of ascension on 3 alts to get the re-colours for each armor type. That’s insane.

Character progression is broken because the game’s difficulty structure has broken down.

And many people in this thread who argue against the only solution, indeed probably even many people who have suggested the changes that caused this to happen, are upvoting the OP.

This is because it’s too easy to see everything, after which the only challenge left is to repeatedly grind the same thing over and over with the reward being only slightly higher numbers and achievements you have to inspect people to see, but nothing of substance and certainly no new experiences.

This is all because of world scaling and LFR and LFD and the very small dungeons. The game is broken because of this, and it will remain broken until people finally realise that not having everything means you have more.

I have argued this point a million times and nobody seems to give a darn, or at the very least they refuse to understand it. I’m not gonna butt heads over it again; I’m just gonna peek in here and say: There goes another one.

Phasing and sharding! Number 1 reason I quit. World is dead. And servers have extremely fishy and different phasing and shards depending where you play. I see high pop realm, log in and see less than 10 players for each class.

Population on the realmlist doesnt show how many people are currently online. It doesnt do that since a long while.

Not allowing us to fly for almost a year after the release of a new expansion, in the new zones.

Completely agree with this honestly, LFR LFD and dungeons being created for the sole purpose of being cleared in m+ is what is making the game broken
