whenever someone just pops up a yak they probably just want to change 1 items appereance, not create an entire item set

so they mount up, change it in 12 seconds, and dismount, nothing personal

It’s mostly just coincidental, they’ve been faffing with their mog for the last 20 minutes and are done. They are looking at various menus on their screen and not at players around them.

Some people do purposely troll and will keep moving a little bit. I have been asked if I have an ah/xmog/vendor mount and will stay there until the person is done (within reason).

It really isnt looking coincidental when the guy keeps moving or despawns the vendors but aint leaving or dismounting, please stop giving these people the benefit of doubt, they dont deserve it :sob:

I remember one time using my Yak to mog a new item, so yes it was a quick sell/mog and then I dismounted. In /say a person rudely told me off for dismounting when they were using the vendors, I immediately put the mount back up for him/her to finish, once they had done I whispered and said, next time maybe be nicer when asking as you find that most people are helpful when asked, the response I got I can’t say on the forums as it would lead to a ban, it was something similar to ‘go make love elsewhere’

I think rudeness can be found anywhere, thankfully I believe that the majority of the playerbase are helpful and kind :slight_smile:

In your case i wouldnt have popped the Yak a second time if he was rude like that but yeah these people are not good either.

Same. I’ll usually click on people nearby, and if I see they are focusing the yak vendor I’ll wait around.

nobody is doing anything on purpose, you simply notice annoying things more and remember them more easily…giving you this false impression.
the same amount of people will dismount from normal mounts around you, but you do not notice that because you are not annoyed by it.
learn the fallability of your own perceptions.

The amount of times I have been on my Yak and someone looked like they were interacting with the mog vendor, so I wait nicely whilst they finish… minutes later I am thinking “good lord they are taking their time…”… then suddenly they sit and AFK appears over them :slight_smile:

I certainly don’t dismount or despawn them because someone may be using them, quite the opposite in fact.

Many people have come out by now and said it has happened to them too so i guess its not just my perception. I dont even know why you are defending them, maybe you are one of them :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: * sound effect on the backround “dun dun dun”*

There are those that troll too. If someone asks if anyone has an AH mount I stand there nicely until they are done.

Yeah i ve met people like you in game, they are always a breath of fresh air.

I do now but before i had the gold to buy one i couldnt and i was running behind these guys like a beggar for a transmog :joy: :joy:

I’m not mounting so other people can do their stuff. When I’m done on my mounts I’m done and the mount goes away, they’re so cheap now too just buy one if you ever run into this issue.

I have all 3 of them now though I mostly use the yak and brutosaur. If I notice someone running up to use the vendors/transmogrifier/ah and I’m not in a rush to move on, I typically stay put for a minute which I feel is generous enough (unless they’re using the transmogrifier, in which case I’ll let them finish), but I don’t feel anyone is entitled to it.

About a month back while questing I did randomly have someone ask if I had a vendor mount. It was in the middle of Nazmir far from any other vendors so it felt really nice being able to help out, especially since the person in question was polite about it, both when he asked and when he was done vendoring.
