Yeah I mean I’d gladly pay less for the subscription to ONLY have access to Era/SoD (since they’re on the same client). I don’t want access to the other things I don’t want to play.

Sadly true, but this is not what angers me most, the fact they are locking P4 while 95% of the content is already there while you paying your subscription is. already said it, it was a master plan to keep subs flowing while woltk and retail were fully consumed. now it’s just a edited by moderator after you kept all these people subscribed in 3 phases while we were preparing cata and the other versions. it has always been about money man.

Not only do i remember, im still fairly active within TrinityCore and the community there is still thriving and solving problems everyday

Maybe Blizzard promised this? You came up with this trash in your head, just like many others came up with their own reasons that should have been in SOD. Do you know what else is different between Subscription and Mangos or Trinity Core? They are simply free. a commercial company is looking for ways to commercialize. how unexpected
You do know that ManGOS and every other core is emulators right? they dont work the same as the real deal do (if they did blizzard would have sued their creators so hard there wouldnt be anything left of them) reverse enginered emulators even so they took a behavior and created code that mimics the behavior, anything you know from backend developing for those things can sadly in reality be disregaded when it comes to this, blizzard have the real deal code and its probbably way worse writen in every way shape and form than anything that any core dev have made in the last 10+ years or so.
Summary
We had to wait 12 months before Diablo 4 got good.
Blizzard is just really slow.
I would advice against buying a Blizz game for at least 3 years if that’s the case. No point getting in early so you can experience trash for a year before it gets good. Add 2 more for good measure.
yeah and everyone is giving the diablo team 
for that, as they rightfully deserve.
imagine producing a diablo game and failing when literally all you have to do is basically copypaste diablo 2.
they had the formula served on a silver platter and they still couldn’t pull it off, like that’s just embarassing.
its certainly not a justification or an excuse for SOD nosediving.

Blizzard used to mean quality, polished games. Now it’s “throw spaghetti at the wall and see if it sticks” because we know you’re addicted and we’ll profit from it.
I dislike the use of the word “predatory”, but in this case, it really is predatory.

They have been new Blizzard almost as long as they were the “polished games” Blizzard … Yet here people are playing Classic Cata, the baby of Activisions Blizzard.
it ended when activision took over, so about 2010 i think.
before that was the golden age of blizzard.
also, cata was already in development when activision took over, they should not get credited.
SoD was a waiting room, now the wait is over. That’s all.
