I farmed Uld and BT to get the druid lookalike bits for my green dragon dracthyr. Itâs all good, just more of a pain.
But naturally I was just messing.
But yeah! Class shouldnât hold you back in RP!
i remember it being so slow to level back in the days, i do NOT wanna level in northrend after going through that so many times back in BFA
cant really blame the ones that went with DKâs
Thatâs pretty regular. A lot of people are not a class ic, so I just treat it like that. Sometimes people just need the abilities for visuals that fit their character. Sanâlayn for example might want to be on a blood DK.
back before BFA it was the only way for Orcs to come close to the Magâhar skin tone. so i am fine with it. some people choose to rp the class they are, or racial variant of it. and some people just want to rp a concept that the class just happens to look best for.
I think hamburgers and cheeseburgers work well with fries.
Do what you want.
Isnât it a pretty common occurrence that people play their characters with some (or a lot of) distance between the character and their actual in-game class?
I donât think I will ever get over the sheer amount of low-effort characters that I encountered throughout Wrath that mainly used ânot a DK ICâ to convey any conceivable class other than DK as some weird leverage to get access to gear and the idea that levels = importance in RP. Like, there were so many of them.
Not as a hot topic these days, but man seeing that one phrase really took me back.
Back then it was a very common occurance to have an easy to get high levelled character.
Nowadays its do what you like.
Iâve lately been seeing people with the blind eyes option on races that naturally have glowing eyes claiming theyâre not actually blind, but just have less glow in them and can still see fine.
At the end of the day, only two things matter.
Are you having fun?
Is it hurting anyone?
You can be whatever you wanna be with whatever class you want. Maybe you like the armour sets of another class. Maybe you enjoy a class but your character being that class doesnât make sense. Maybe the class you like doesnât exist in the game(Dragonsworn, spellbreaker, tinker, bard, necromancer or something else entirely).
A rather bizarre prejudice. People did âNot a DH ICâ alot because it was the only way to wield glaives for a long time.
Huge amounts of people are âNot a Warrior ICâ because Warriors can tmog nearly every weapon class and wear all armor classes.
You do what you have to do in order to get round the stupid tmog restrictions that are getting in the way of making your character.
is ok i dont mind
Itâs weird because I still definitely feel like I have some deep down prejudice and/or bias towards it, but I canât for the life of me remember the last time someone has used it in bad faith.
Itâs fine, honestly. Go ahead.
