People just don’t like that he has a higher place in society than them and he earns money by being an actor on stream.
Another part is these forums are mostly ran by casuals, sensitives and boomers.
He’s actually doing great stuff for the WoW community. You might not like his personality but everything else why you’d hate or dislike him is completly invalid and has many more reasons, not only those I mentioned above.
He’s the most logical content creator WoW has. If you take logical thinking about the claims Asmon has, then you’d understand that most of these are supported by the majority of the community and would absolutely improve the game.
He has some wishful thinking but these are his minor own opinions which he also mentions on stream.
I’m glad that we have someone who dares to speak out his mind and approaches things with logical thinking while being heavily influenced by the community and other content creators which share the same mind for the majority of the playerbase.
I donate to a childrens charity every single month for the last 3 years, I still don’t expect everyone to like me… that would be silly.

I think his community can be really obnoxious and annoying, but nothing against the guy personally. I watched his videos back in MoP and thought they were hilarious. Glad to see how much he’s grown. And I don’t think he’s really done anything that warrants hate, some people on here act like he eats babies for breakfast.
I also don’t think this forum is really a place to talk about him randomly though. Most people probably don’t care either way, and it’s a pretty non-productive topic anyways (you don’t like this content creator? Shame on you! ( and vice versa)).

Sadly that’s pretty much how it works ,but doesn’t change the fact that Asmon and donors had nobble intention.
He called me for a retard on his stream. But i’m glad that he’s raised money for charity so perhaps i was right in my statement there’s good in everyone. But one little good deed dosen’t make up for all of his mistakes. But it’s a good start.

A person can do good things and still be disliked & or be a douche or do bad things elsewhere.
Charity work is always nice, but I personally dislike him for other reasons, which still happened/exists even if he does something else that is nice or good.

The thing about Asmongold, he trolls on his stream because it’s “Entertaining”, it makes people laugh which makes him popular. I think his streams would be quite boring if he didn’t tbh.
He did a good thing with raising dough, so good on him, can’t hate him for that really.

you’re a strange wee boy. I’ve never seen the guys streams, I hate streamers as a rule. the only time he enters my head is if I see his name mentioned here. where his name is, there’s usually good bait.

Nobody cares if he’s a bad or good person according to some randoms on internet, the point is that money was raised for charity. Clergy was just looking to bait.
