I was about to come and post this, as always you’re on the all
Admit it, you’re jealous that she beat you to it. And her cat gifs are better.
Schmu’s cat gifs are always on point!
and by that logic, with crit as my current primary stat, strength also diminishes, therefore it is irrelevant.
also, why would I waste time figuring out sims when it won’t matter either way.
No… You stacking crit is a dps loss if you have the possibility to get more strength from somewhere else or mastery. You get reduced value out of your already obtained crit rating. Also Strength is by far your highest dps increase.
If we have another DK that has your exact ilvl but 300 less crit than you but 300 more mastery then this DK will out dps you because his gear is better optimized.
Also siming takes less than 5minutes.
I don’t really see how that is relevant or how simming would matter?
Because it shows you what your stat weights are like. Like how many dps roughly you get per point of str, haste, mastery etc.
and what would I earn by doing this, what would I have to gain through doing such things?
What food are you using?
Crit is not your primary stat. It just the stat you have obtained most of. Strength is giving you the highest DPS/output/performance per point. Crit does not. Mastery is better for you at this point. Your gear optimization is horrible.
Yes you can go ahead and say that its your main stat now because you have most of it. But that’s only according to you. You playing that way is only you playing DK in the wrong way.
I’m done with this thread now.
The crit food of course
But I asked what I would earn by simming and doing all of that, if there is nothing for me to gain then why would I do it?
Ah yes. The “crit food”. Will surely find it with that name on the AH.
It’s called spinefin souffle and fries
Thank you!
Just to clarify things a little more, higher dps is a means to an end, but without a relevant end, what need would one have for this?
I don’t do mythic raids and Heroic raids are never an issue for me to clear, with this said, my question stands, what would I have to gain by increasing dps when I won’t actually achieve anything by doing so, it is not like I am suddenly going to get guild invites out of nowhere and even if I did, what would I gain by going into mythic? what little prestige there was in such things has more or less been completely extinguished in recent times.
knowledge, you gain knowledge.
simming allows you to see how much each stat is worth to you.
crit is only your best secondary stat until 30%. everything above 30% becomes virtually useless. thus, other stats like mastery become more valuable because they still count.
