Today marks the day Patch 7.3 was released in Legion's life cycle

The release of 7.3 was kind of a mistake and caused some problems, so i’m guessing they have a different approach in BFA.

The problem is that patch releases in legion did not match with new raid releases. And the way that raid achievements work now, raids need a certain amount of time to be completed. This meant that even though patch 7.3 content was ready they couldn’t cut short the Tomb of Sargeras raid.
So they released 7.3 without Antorus, matching the outdoor content from argus with Tomb of Sargeras raid.

This is the point where we had the most complains about titanforging, because there were a lot of dumb people who didn’t understand that Argus content provided better gear than ToS. So you had access to new argunite gear, new dungeon, argus world bosses, all of these compared to gear dropped from ToS, instead of Antorus.

The release of Eternal palace 2 weeks after patch makes me think they learned something from Legion and now patch releases are based on raid schedule.

There is no guarantee any of that will be resolved during BfA, however.

The only thing for me is WoW expac announcement and news is the only reason I would buy a ticket. If its announced before or even after I wont bother as non of their other IP’s interest me in the slightest.

Why do you assume that next expansion will release in August, expansion release month has never been consistant.

But why? I mean, BFA is boring and uninspired, there is nothing much you’d want to do and it’s 99% thanks to class design. The lens through which you view the world is boring, uninteresting, uninspiring, it is small and bleak and without thought or depth. All the classes feel the same, there is no uniqueness to them, no specialty, all classes do damage pretty much equally with some being blatantly ignored by blizzard as they can’t be bothered.

Make the classes feel good, fun, intuitive, with depth, rhyme and reason, THEN the expansion.

I’d assume since the it’s last 2 expansions were August ,
Wod was November , Mists was September.

on average its about 22 months so that would be June 2020 at the earliest

Well there is - its the guarantee of Blizzard developers. They said this at last Blizzcon. That’s more factual then any other doomsday thinking

That’s my problem with BfA.
The Alliance/Horde war, N’Zoth’s freeing, the dragon aspects, the big sword in the middle of Silithus, Horde rebels, Vol’jin, Wrathion, Spriest blade elf, Azshara still alive, Tyrande. There are just too many open endings.
Noone can for sure predict what’s going to be in the patch, or the final raid. At this point a lot of things will be resolved in the next expansion, or the final patch will be a complete overload of unsatisfying endings.

Attending Gamescom doesn’t mean they can’t hold their own event. Companies do this all the time, including Blizzard.

yup i guess this is pretty much it for BFA. it would be a waste of resources to create a raid in the 8.3 patch, because by the time it comes out, there will be like 4-6 months until the next expansion.

BFA is don when it comes to major content.

God i hope not, kill him and other old gods and get rid of them forever in bfa. then remake the world from cata again(male all cities worthwhile/usable as cities woth the major npcs and such).
And repair it, not doom and gloom and purple mist and tentacles evrywhee.
Old gods the only intresting thing they had was lost with chronicles being stronger then titans.
