Too many Void elf rpers

That’s not a problem - per my discussions about “Why did Blood Elves join the Horde?” I’ve been assured by Alliance posters that Garithos did not represent the Alliance so anything Sylv did to him doesn’t matter

Alliance and Horde are evil and are destroying Azeroth with their war so we need the Scourge who are the real good guys to wipe ya’ll out and make the world clean again.

Ahh, was that the good old Alliance standby of “B-but that doesn’t count, it was -different-”

Replace Icicle Humanman Bolvar with Nagash and this would be a storyline I could endorse.

Replace Bolvar with anyone tbf. He’s boring and a crappy Lich King :frowning:

He is a bit wet, to be honest, though in fairness, his job is ‘Jailor of the Damned’ in his own words. Legion aside, that’s not someone I would want getting all proactive and ‘creative’ with their job role…

Pretty sure he’s fiery rather than wet (ᴗ ͜ʖ ᴗ)

But yea, he’s dull. Just… bleh. If he actually did something it would be fun.

I wonder if Blizzard ever expected Garithos to have a fanbase.

Then again, I dont think they consciously wanted to prove him right.

I imagine they always thought he would have a fanbase, he is contentious, and just racist-y enough that people can justify him in some way without it being overt. Sort of like a cross between teenagers and Daily Mail readers. That’s the fanbase for him.

Also how was he -right-? He was an atrocious tactician, who thought nothing of allying with Undead and -Demons- yet somehow thought Elves were bad. He’s like Garrosh, a silly 2 dimensional racist who everyone fauns over, whilst in fact being a mess of contradictions. Lets be honest, what is Garithos’s defining feature? What makes him different from any other Generic Alliance leader? He’s Racist. That’s what people -like- about him? Jeez…

Yes. Because the moving of goalposts back to stormheim and beyond, back to Varian “declaring war” in Wrath or any such thing is entirely irrelevant. The narrative is such that Sylvanas struck first via premeditated misdirection and plots to conquer ashenvale with a flimsy excuse of now or die.

One can argue that it started in Silithus or Stormheim but in the context of this ongoing story, it’s actually wrong and Sylvanas is treated as the focal point aggressor. But by all means, keep claiming it started when Alliance did X, it’s great internal Horde propaganda…

Don’t bring my boy Nagash into this! hugs 90’s Warhammer Armies: Undead

God yes, I’d much prefer a frosty king again, the firey red just doesn’t do it for me with Bolvar. I’ve had a problem with that ever since they came out with it.

He’s an example for a lot of Human roleplayers. So… it would indeed seem he has some sort of fanbase.

Its only funny because its true, but yeah…

Jesus, could you get any more disgusting, Brigante?

When did this thread turn into Horde hardcore patting themselves on the back? You are legitimately making me want to throw up.
