Well, if you ever see Brigante wandering about, don’t feel shy about striking up a conversation at random, he’s a very sociable type, and people fascinate him. 
It happens. Rarely but it happens. I actually worry more about the gnome-abuse from time to time.
Oh god. I started fleshing out my three belf characters. Maybe Brigante-senpai will notice me one day…!
Gnomes are so underrated it is untrue, they have the bleakest backstory of any race, making Quel’thalas and Lordaeron look like a theme park in comparison. When they were suffering a simultaneous Cthulu outbreak/28 Days later scenario, Chernobyl and ‘Dawn of the Dead’ scenario, they went “Best not bother the rest of the Alliance, we’ll try and sort this ourselves, they have enough problems!” Bless 'em…Gnarliest race in the whole game…

Update:
Was walking with my priest to see if I could find some group roleplaying and two humans approached me, asking if I knew where they could buy boots.
Found myself doing a 20 minute roleplay in walking from AH to Goldshire.
It was pretty cool, not gonna lie.
One of them was a newbie and he was enjoying it as well.
WoW like this doesn’t even get close to boring.
I might do RP more seriously.

The fun thing about roleplaying is that even the simplest of tasks can be engaging and fun if the others are on board with it. These sort of interractions help fresh out your character, gives a place to add some personality to them.
RPing is appealing to me, but it is something I doubt I will try beside random IC interractions (if ever.) I am way too reserved for that, and there is just isn’t enough time for me to delve into it in any serious way. I can appreciate it having a positive effect of those who play on that realm however.
I hope this is something that does not change anytime soon.
Well, I do hope you are sincere about this and aren’t trying to pull some kind of elaborate hoax (After reading your posts, I think I am forgiven for feeling some mistrust)
Just… Avoid the AD forums for… An uncertain time, chances are the posters there will keep reminding you of your posts there as an attempt of discrediting anything you say, be it sincere or not.

Goldshire is what I would call extremely immersive.
I will never understand the situation about Goldshire… Goldshire is heavily populated at any time of the day, on all realms I am on, or have been on. Regardless of realm type. What is it that attract people to Goldshire?!
Why don’t you go and check it out for yourself, and you see why.
Let’s be real tho, RP:ers are playing WoW the right way the game’s purpose!.

Pornographic roleplays in a game which is geared towards children. That’s the problem.
I have been all around there, but I don’t recall if Goldshire inn is one of the houses with a basement. The houses look too similar to tell them appart from memory. Last time I was there I was just flying through to reach the DF portal. It was crowded enough outside for me to not question the inside!
Still, why Goldshire, for this many years? And on all servers?
I mean, I realize no one can give me a real answer, but the ERP part of Goldshire is one of the first things my bf met in WoW back in 2005 already. I will never forgot the image that stuck in my head from that. Yes, he came to get me just to show me 
Let me tell you about a experience i noticed on a lvl 1 Human, as i wrote about i dont RP or any of that kind, so i downloaded a RP addon to see what peoples RP info were!.
Anyhow!.
I went to Goldshire inn, i’ve heard about the nightmares it held.
But wanted to see if it was just as they said, so i went up to the upper lvl and what do i see?, i see 3 Male Draenei’s dancing in their undies, okay i thought to myself thats not so bad, well when i went to the Basement i saw something that made me literaly ALT+F4 and haven’t gone to Argent Dawn since.
Behind the barrels there was a Male Tauren and a Female Gnome in their undies, and im 100% sure you know what they did.
Quite honestly, I find it hillarious. When my bf showed me what he found, I couldn’t stop laughing. People are quite creative with character movement. I’m amazed people are still at it, but I guess many go there for the sake of humor too, and gladly participate for that, while others are serious about it.
While not in Goldshire, I tried RP’ing once on the Sha’tar, which is where I have a bunch of chars(friends moved there, and I followed as everyone left on my server was on a hiatus). Well, it started well. Then the guy went out of character while I was on a FP, and started trying to convince me into ERP. I never tried to RP again . That wasn’t even Goldshire!
Ey im not to judge, but i have a Feeling that when the Servers come up.
There will be MechaGnome - Gnome ERP, Mechagnomes and their USB Sticks
