So um…my question is how did you guys even do 7? I tried it with a guildie we got to the last boss. He had 1.4 mil health. he whacked me half of my HP off when he enraged and that was like at 60% of his health.
Yeah we didnt get super awesome 1 shot skills but how is that boss possible?
I mean I don’t see the point of wasting so much time for so little soulash. I did level 6 recently and to be honest, it was too little for too much time spent already. Can’t imagine how level 8 looks like. Its just boring at this point. Given the fact that only two legendaries are a must have, I don’t see the point. Better wait for the reset and do something else instead, something that will actually be fun. With that being said, perhaps your ilvl is too low for that floor, or the power lottery wasn’t good.
Well in my case it was dumb luck, vendor had the anima power which makes you invulnerable for 1.5 minute … I just went in whacked him a bit,when dmg became too much activated the power … Voila 1.5 minutes of immunity to everything.
Its strong but its not fun, its cheesy, but without that i probably could not finish.
Also i went vengefull, its easier as venge then havoc.
I went as veng. Think i could have even gotten through floor 1 as havoc? 
Ah well…i dunno i dont find it good content to fight through for an hour to get to last floor then be whacked by the last boss in less than 10 minutes.
I totally agree with you, it’s not worth it, in fact i would go for 6 myself. But first i wanted them “done” and “unlocked”.
Second there gonna be an achievement for solo torghast which gives you also the mount which works in the maw, so that part is a big deal it should be “doable”.
Now that i have all 8 layers open and “done” i think i gona scale back to 6 myself …
I hope with gear it gets easy because eventually i would like to do it as havoc … solo and most of the time even with not perfect rng

I don’t think ilvl matters all that much once you consider all the crazy powers. I think it’s just an issue of some classes having way better powers.
Havoc DH for instance doesn’t have anything crazy.
- no dmg taken during Eye Beam
- 20% chance to reset cd of Eye Beam
- Double Eye Beam damage
None of those things are crazy enough to explain how we’re supposed to do 1 mil dmg before the boss enrages
Torghast seem to have recevied massive nerfs, any feedback yet on layers 7 8 ?
I don’t think they’re live yet. I solo’d layer 7 on the other wing ( not Upper Reaches ) and that one went well but Upper Reaches felt impossible.
