I’ve written a crash report now, in hopes that they fix the event. So yeah… still not fixed 
Keeping this thread alive, no longer in hope, but to log the malpractice. Still not working.
I’ve been trying to get this achievement for months … if not years already. I don’t understand how it’s not possible to fix a meta achievement problem in a whole year…
WoW got so buggy in the last few years … it’s getting frustrating.
I hope Blizzard will fix a few bugs in the future.

Once again, checked - event still in the same state.
Progress bar is not showing up when you enter event area/killing enemies.
Posting this to bump awareness.
It’s already broken for a full year. Blizzard should remove the Cold Dark Minions achievements from the meta achievements requirment !!!
An update would be nice Blizzard!
Wrath of the Jailer is also bugged. I’ve submitted bug reports several times for like half a year, still nothing.
No progress bar, no bosses appearing, nothing. Tried to disable/enable mods, logging out-in, reset everything…
Here’s what I got from the GMs today:
“After an investigation, I was able to find that this is indeed not working as intended and our developers are into it, we will have to wait for a solution provided by them and most likely it will be through an update since on our side we do not have any temporary solutions or fix, we hope you understand.”
…and:
“I also found more reports from other players regarding this matter.”
Maybe it’s just an average helpdesk-letter, but I got hope. 
Be sure to report this bug as many times as possible.
They fix any bug that benefit players within 24 hours btw. Its not the matter of they are not able, its matter of they dont care
Blizzard says we should wait until 11.2.
