Oh I absolutely agree. I believe that they should have their own space to do so, where it is permitted. What I was saying was that in the current climate and ruleset we have - it doesn’t work. Period. They will weasel their way into other outlets.
Things will have to change fundamentally if they are going to implement a boosting-chat. Such as the things you mentioned, which would be a good start.
Well, it was nice while it lasted. That being SL before trade chat became yet again an endless stream of advertising.
I preferred it when the initial magic of an expo lasted closer to a month, a week or so in and it’s “business as usual”, spamming adverts and reducing the game to a cynical grind you’re trying to coax players to bypass for reasons.
TBH not a lot you can do about it. More fool the muppets willing to pay 200k for someone to get torghast level 3 done for them or to get gear that will be repalced in short course when the season hits. More money than sense, but then again the boosters rely on people like that.
If you think its only for gold, you are a fool. Thay have started spamming it with third party websites now (how dungeon finder is)… its only getting worse untill enough players report them and make blizz take action against such behavior.
