Maybe, who knows.

on the bright side ; i guess it makes it easier to save up tenders for when furniture comes for housing.

Of course it was and space exists. However, there should to be SEPARATION.

  1. Gnomes are cute and goofy, and by giving cute and goofy to all you are essentially taking away trademark from the Gnomes.
  2. Cute and goofy forsaken warlock is out of place.

It’s not on you to decide which race is allowed to be silly and goofy.
If I want MY forsaken to be goofy then I am allowed to have that

Well its just that… Being broody and bitter kinda came with the forsaken package. Lore wise is all.

They do not feel anything. Their emotions are gone by lore. They feel betrayed by the living. for betraying them and leaving them behind. The forsaken by lore is a cynical cold people.

The name of their ‘‘race’’ it self comes from how Forsaken they felt by the living in general.

It’s not about me, but rather about the theme an the integrity of the game. And game derailed severally from its original theme.

Suspended several times :joy:

That is true that is the overall portrait of the forsaken.
I’m sure that’s not a 100% description of every single forsaken even so they lost there feelings there are bound to be those that don’t accept that and that try all they can to be as they once where.
They did not lost there memories of what joy is or atleast I don’t think they do.

That might be but I wouldn’t call it detailed but evolved.
The game changes over time just like the gamers do and I think that is an important thing.
And it’s not like there is only butterflies and silly hats. We still have what we had before (Not talking about the story tho that is a different can of worms).
There should be space and items and mog for everyone to be as silly or pink and fluffy as they like and if that’s not what floats your boat then that’s ok. Don’t use the items just like I even so I play a forsaken don’t use all the skulls and spike mogs.

And believe me I love the original theme of the game. The forsaken warlock in that trailer is one of the reason I played one for the last 20 years.
But I also enjoy silly things and I think they can both exist together in wow.

We have definetely seen that the forsaken do still feel things. They can feel their flesh and skin rotting for example. they can feel the maggots in their flesh. So physical feelings are still there.

There has also been examples of them still feeling emotional feelings too. Like when they wanted to reconnect to their living siblings in the Before storm book.

But over all… the forsaken. Do feel very cynical and cold and bitter… betrayed. Because the world judged them for their undeath. Saw them as monsters. When they had hoped people would sympathise with their fate allot more.

But It would be really out of character still. to see a Forsaken goof ball xP I am not saying it cant happen i think. But it would be really out of place.

It’s not like Classic and various expansions of old didn’t have fun stuff in them, bright outfits, skimpy sets, funny weapons etc. The quests weren’t all super serious either.

Wow has always had a bit of humour in it and popular culture references.

However, people can all have their own preferences and there is nothing wrong with that ofc.

It would be a bit out of place but that’s probably why I like it.
I like when things fall out of line and don’t behave like you think they should.

Latest example would be the quest in undermine where you flee with a car and get chased by that flying thing and the game wants you to use the shamans totems.
Instead of putting them down and the elementars slowing the flying thing you just chuck them at the thing and the elementars spawn on it.
That was hilarious.

And I love when my forsaken aren’t like you would think how someone that is cursed and undead should be.
I love zombies and I love when zombie movies are silly while still not a full comedy. The old Romero movies for example are great. They trie.to be zombie movies but they also are kinda goofy and not just cause they are old films

That is why we have different genres and even more games within each genre. Game should to obey defining characteristics of the genre and defining characteristics of the game itself.

There is nothing outside of the genre.

We’ve long had the silly and the serious in the game, from the very start. So whilst I appreciate people have different tastes, it’s not like WoW has become a different game. Across the board we’ve seen better quality of armor. More detail and dimensions.

But it does tho.

It’s an RPG and we are free to express our characters.
It would be a different thing if the next important story character rolls up in the butterfly mog

I think it is awesome that you can play an unique forsaken… But if what makes you unique suddenly becomes the given for all forsaken? <.< it takes out the uniqueness of such forsaken as your self.

The over arching theme of the forsaken. Is not too be goofy and silly. It -can- happen. But most of them are not like that, Due to lore reasons.

Freedom to express yourself doesn’t mean you are unique.

Also plenty of dry humour/wit/sarcasm with the UD on the whole.

of course it does… if most of your people are brooding and cynical and cold. And your not? Of course your a stand out? Hello?

Some seem to be so worried about what other people are doing. No one is making others dress as they do. Some don’t even mog at all. So I really don’t see your point.

An UD with butterfly wings makes no difference to any other UD.

Cultures… themes… aestetichs… Sexuality and gender. etc. Still are a thing to people puny.

While some people don’t see color? Some people don’t see gender at all. Some people don’t see any difference between masculinity and gender at all.

Doesn’t mean these things no longer exists.

Like… Id love for us all to just see everyone as just humans. Just basic humans. But these things are real… they exist.
