The longboi was a mistake in the first place.
No mount or toy should provide services that render the actual place in the world that was supposed to offer them (barber shop, transmog, auction house, mail…) useless.
Unless it has a huge cooldown, like Katy’s Stampwhistle.
It’s the same with portals everywhere.

I can accept you have your opinion. Even if I disagree with it. Even if I don’t agree that anyone is gatekeeping for wanting the same standards applied across the board with things being brought back. Actual gatekeeping is people that never want anything available again.
I don’t care if they bring back any of the older rewards. But they have to be old. This isn’t there yet IMO (to you it is). So all the ridiculous comments calling people unhinged for not sharing their opinion. Just bang out of order.
I may not agree with the people that never want to let the Challenge Mode sets come back or the Mage Tower but I don’t question their mental state.

I always grow tired of this “back in my days. I had to walk through hot coals to get to school everyday”, times change Puny. 
Also. I am not suggesting to bring back the mount and give it out as free candy for everyone. By all means, keep the 5M price tag on it and etc. But don’t add a mount which has such a huge QoL improvement and then remove it. As I mentioned before. Very few care for the dino per say but for the “AH on demand” it brings with it.
Repair, transmog mounts are still available freely in vendors so why AH needs to get blacklisted…aka “black AH”?

I’m fine with it being put back on the vendor for the original price tag. I said that.
I don’t agree with it being thrown on the Trading Post (yet) for free basically which is what the OP is asking for.

Would be nice if Blizzard just made more mounts with an Auction House NPC instead of treating it like some priceless object that must never appear again.
Just normalize it and make a bunch of mounts with Auction House NPCs that can be acquired through various means.
I think Blizzard sometimes paints themselves into a corner where they “allow” parts of the community to decide that something needs to be special and rare, even though there really is no reason for it to be so.

I found it too expensive to buy and not really interested in a mobile AH.
Just happy with my Borean Tundra for vendoring trash and repairs.
Having said that, if it did come up in Trading Post I probably get it just because it’s there.

I would not call 6 years ‘too soon’. They wouldn’t be giving it away for free. You’d pay tenders.
It’s high time others get a shot at the longboi finally, we’ve waited long enough.
You are free to feel different. But as I said. Too soon to give it away for free. Putting it back on vendor for 5m would be fine.

Might even put as one of those 15 euro costing mounts that I see in the games shop from ingame. Theres mounts from 15-25 euro and the 25 euro ones seem to all fly and 15 euro is ground mount. Neck dinosaur is ground mount and doesnt fly. 
You work out how much 5m gold is in tokens!

But it cant fly, 15 euro seem to be estimate for ground mounts value in euros in store. Idk how to calculate auction into the equation tho
That would be a masterclass in trolling the idiots that payed the £400+ in tokens to get it the first time round. If only!

We dont have to call them names tho, they just like the game alot and I dont judge how much they spend on it if they got that much to spare, unless its for something like buying boost carrys for rated achievements to cheese game what others are playing with their own capabilities etc then I disapprove. 
Only reason we got a mog mount was due to them removing reforging and a lot of people felt annoyed they had at the time spent a lot of money for nothing.
