Just had a ‘Faction Pride’ where the Kirin Tor-themed player won, well deserved. At least that is some originality.
Ironically for me it’s freestyle, if I don’t have a theme I have a hard time thinking of something.
Haven’t got to personally see it across 3 alts, I just got ungodly amounts of Going Green (pretty easy with Teldrassil starter mog and Staff of the Green Circle). I wish we had a list of all new themes so I could know if there are more I haven’t seen.
Probably yeah, I won on another mage of mine mixing pieces from Dragon Soul normal (time lord), SoO mythic (chronomancer) and Deaths of Chromie sets.
I agree that when I got it the explanation confused the hell out of me, and I haven’t gotten it a 2nd time yet. I think it’s about adventuring gear but all the talk about catwalks got me confused.

I usually just throw on a random load of jumbled gear that looks like trash. Perhaps even just leave my leveling heirlooms on, untransmogged.
Strangely, I usually win! People must like the raw, careless adventurer look.
Every time there are 5 stormwind mogs and me with a nzoth themed priest. I did not make it to top 3 even once D:
I’ve also noticed that people will play in groups and just vote for each other no matter what which makes the whole experience unfun.
Aanyways I never understood expedition catwalk but won a few times with a simple adventurer look(Which I guess I’m happy with)

That is the key.
They should do something to combat people just rigging the competition, but i doubt they’ll do anything.
You just know that you’re gonna lose if there are 3 players who are part of the same guild
