Ahead of the weekly reset and players choosing from the Great Vault, we’ll make the following adjustments to trinkets that are outside of our performance targets:
Items
Screams of a Forgotten Sky - On-death damage increased by 15%.
Perfidious Projector - Damage increased by 10%.
Naazindhri’s Mystic Lash - Damage increased by 15%.
Astral Antenna - Critical Strike reduced by 3%.
Gigazap’s Zap-Cap - Damage increased by 15%. Internal cooldown reduced to 0.5 seconds (was 0.75 seconds).
First Class Healing Distributor - Healing increased by 20%.
So’leah’s Secret Technique - Buff duration increased to 1 hour.
We intend for this the last round of trinket tuning for Season 3, unless something unexpected occurs.
does that mean -3% crit rating granted, or of the converted x% crit rating, flat 3% deducted? the former would be irrelevant, the latter somewhat harsh since thats ~180 crit rating per application less at ilvl 723. but 3% less at the base itemlevel 662 would be nearly half of what it grants and still is ~35% of the budget at 723.
Currently a trinket I. Cannot even loot as DK is considerd my BiS “Miniscule Mailemental in an Envelope” and it’s not even Close, could u please fix that?
Either add it to my loot Pool or Take that 33% Tank Penalty away from all dps trinkets
I take it you never play through Season 1 and Season 2?
It’s just because if you did, you would know that throughout the entire seasons there were adjustments to classes based upon performance.
This is actually a very important question that needs to be answered. Because this trinket is best in slot for many DPS characters, so they do need to get back onto this topic and clarify as to the 3% reduction.
Ofc it means the rating. Patch notes always refer to ratings, and you can check from previous trinket tuning that ratings always change.
You can also infer that by yourself. They know that the trinket is the best one for all classes, and they generally avoid making something go from best to useless. In that matter 3% is enough to make the difference smaller with 2nd choices, but not to make specs actually avoid the trinket.
I wonder if Improvised Seaforium Pacemaker will be a better option overrall now due to its consistency. Trying to see the orbs let alone pick them up during any boss fight in Manaforge Omega is next to impossible as it is.
What about Delve trinkets? They’re so pathetic compared to last season’s (Turbo Drain 5000 last season was a solid one).
Now we got a “dps” trinket that procs LEECH (???), and a football one that does less damage than a season 1 trinket taking into account of the dps loss moving to them.
Good riddance tbh, the S2 delve trinkets were absolutely insane and made the pre-myth track trinket farming in dungeons and raids irrelevant. You shouldn’t get pre-myth bis from delves imo.
