Item Name: Payem yoodtroht’gethayem Tayemoth’roth Yahkem, which translates to “Eternal Prison of the devourer of gods” or just “Purgatory”, in the humans common language
Type: Legendary, Longsword
Material: Demonic bones, skin and flesh
location: Lost.

Signature Power: Pugatory was crafted for one purpose, to kill immortals.
First: It absorb the soul of true immortals such as demons, then feast on the soul to strengthen itself until all traces of the soul is obliterated, killing the immortal permenantly.

Second: When swung it produces a sound akin to screaming which invokes a primal fear in mortals as well as demons.
This is further enhanced by how wrong the weapon feels, to witness the blade is to lay eyes on something which should not exist, something so uncanny it turns to fear.

Origin:
Pugatory was supposedly crafted by priest of the Sulphur God, a survivor from one of the Blacksouls Dominions many conquests who converted to the wicked gods faith under threat of death. According to popular legends the Corpse-Burner sendt the priest tormenting visions of a weapon so terrible and vile it brought the priests mind to abeslute madness, sending them into a dark mental place from which the only escape was the creation of the wicked weapon. The priest driven by this dark divine purpose, harvested the materials to forge the blade, from the bodies of greater demons he tore their bones to be his metal, from mutated monsters he ripped the skin and sinew to bind his creation, and in the blood of imps he tempered the edge. The resulte was a gross pale imitation of a sword, brittled and dull, but the priest was not done with his heresy, He tricked a powerful demon and trapped them in the blade, using the foul creatures true name to bind its essence, enraged and forced to starve, the priest drove the demon mad with hunger and rage until that was all it had left.
Then and only then did the priest allow Pugatory to feed and its first taste of flesh was his own

Interesting Things About the Weapon

  1. The blade is formed from the rib of a pitlord.
Holes has been drilled into the surface which catches air when the blade is swung, creating a noise similar to that of screaming voices.

  2. The sword is cursed with 13 words of power, whispered to the mad priest in his slumber. each word is itched into the surface of the sword, from its handle and crossguard to the tip of the blade and highlighted in the dried blood of the priest himself.

  3. The weapon is brittled and has broken many times, but the eldritch powers imbured in its creation always reform the weapon anew.
It is not a weapon ment for prolonged combat, but instead to pacify its victims with fear and execute them without resistance.

Azurial The Warlock Knight, once a stoic hero from the lands of Coltheim in the age of Annihlior Conquest, Azurial set out on a quest to end the Dread queen of Annihlior, his quest brought him down a dark path as he sought a means to combat the demons and came into possession of the evil blade, which changed him, Azurial was strong but his mind was not prepared for the rage contained in the bone and bound flesh, the demon inside took control and azurial was all but gone. Though the demon brought his wrath and hunger upon the minions of Annihilor, slaughtering armies and champions in his wake, he was ultimately defeated in a duel against a warrior poet who couldn’t feel fear, their clash resulted in the dark blade shattering and Azurials soul destroyed.

Before Him’gar could use the dreaded weapon a “mountain” was dropped on top of her, her death kickstarted a short age of privateers as lesser pirates and sea bound criminals hoped to fill the vacuum Him’gar Tor had left behind.
