Purpose: Dagger given to the Al’ki assassins of Al’watia
Information
The standard dagger of the Al’ki assassins, said to allow them to disappear and appear at will, covering short distances in miliseconds.
Blessed by the Eko spirits, a strike by these blades are enough to drive a person to chaotic delerium followed by a painful death if not cured. Should death somehow not occur, the blades are coated in a mortal poison from deep within Al’watias jungles.
Each blade is made by bathing silver in a combination of herbs and blood for six days, followed by a further three days of blessings before the silver is molded into a weapon.
Leaders within the Al’ki assassins, the very rarely seen Shadow Bearers, hold daggers that allow them to channel the Eko spirits themselves. These daggers follow a similar creation, save a Troll priestess must give her life in the making.
Despite being made of silver the Ru’al’ki are surprisingly durable, the Shadow Bearer variant has been seen channeling powerful shocks, summoning venomous spiders and a cut healing instead of harming amongst others. This variant is as rare as the Shadow Bearers themselves.
It goes without saying that these daggers make the Al’ki assassins what they are, should an Al’ki lose their dagger, they are executed without question or protest - the price of insulting the Eko spirits with such carelessness.
