Not everyone enjoys a one man show .
Feels unfair to kick someone just because hes blasting the dungeon.
In fact i never liked to kick someone, would always click decline.
âI dont like something therefore it should be changedâ there are already controls in game to have your way - you can a.) try to kick the twink chances are this wont go through because most of players would just want a quick run this is fact whether you like it or not b.) you can leave and wait to join another one. Like others have mentioned before in this post if you want a challenge you can do other grouped content I doubt you would find a level 11 twink running in normal dungeon finder etc. as for the scaling comment I mean it would great if blizzard could actually do this they have spent years trying to fix scaling on a array of things and always fall short xD they do try though.
If weâre getting another stat squish with Midnight, because thatâs well overdue by now, it should hopefully alleviate a little bit of the issue.
I think the problem Blizzard struggles with is that their scaling system has to account for such an insane spectrum in power, from the level 11 character to the max level character. And it just canât. But if it all gets squeezed a bit closer together, then the difference between the level 11 character and the max level character diminishes as well.
Of course thatâs maybe. Perhaps. Hopefully. If. And so on.
Well opening TW to low levels and not adjusting the ilvl of TW rewards so itâs not twice the ilvl of pretty much any other source at that level definitely didnât help.
Nope! Quite opposite.
I explore all this twinking and scaleing stuff for long time, and every time, when ilvl squish happens, its only boosts 10-11 lvls. With latest squish, during TWW pre-patch, this squish was highly damaging for 19-29 lvls, because of reducing Warforged gear ilvl.
Scaleing is so scuffed and need to be balanced, its clearly to me, that this system is struggles, when ilvl squishing happens. That also explains why high lvls struggles, because as lvl 68, you use gear from Shadowlands, which is ~240ilvl, but once you hit 71 - game expect you to use gear from Dragonflight, which is ~400. And not only that, due fast XP gains and not that frequent loot drop, players often ended up with at least one piece of ilvl ~100 gear at the high levels.
Lazy way to make high lvl dungeon experience better is simply buff item drop rates, so characters can have proper ilvl gear for theirs current level and not to die from one mob.
Simply speaking - characterâs gear canât keep up with lvlups.
Thats why I just sit back and let the twink get their 5 minutes of being John Wick. Long as I donât do anything theyâll ignore me if the tank does die and I think heâs about to be faceplanted just hold back so you donât proximity pull. As long as I so much autoattack the last boss I get credit. Itâs a win win for me.
That is the problem. Not twinks.
Scaling.
Thatâs kinda why the satchel of helpful goods exists.
Yes, but mostly people is doing Time Walking event dungeons, which doesnât have it. If i recall correctly, only few expansions in Chromie time have this satchel.
To somehow neutralize ilvl gap, i usually buy timewalking items from the vendor, but it costs timebadges, which with new timewalking mogs - not everyone want to spend just on leveling gear.
