I would like to be able to have friendly health bars OFF while hostile healthbars are ON
Ctrl+V Friendly nameplates
G Enemy nameplates
I think there is a lot missing.
First and foremost it appears that there was absolutely no testing done with the UI scaling set to 114%.
For those who have sight issues if things had been properly tested before release many things would have been looked at.
So what basics would I like to see?
-
An option within the accessibility settings to increase the size of the font used for the text in game. For people with sight issues the size of the text is real issue.
-
The mini map needs to be scalable and is not. With the UI scaling set to 114% in the graphics settings the mini map takes up 1/3rd of the screen on the right hand side of the screen.
This makes fitting in other elements a real pain. Quest tracking for example will not sit under the mini map as it falls off the bottom of the screen.
-
There also needs to be a setting within the accessibility settings to change the background color of the quest text to make it much more readable for those who have issues with their sight.
-
Other text within the game needs to be looked into. For example attempting to read quest text within the quest tracking window is a real pain in the butt with the color of the text and background currently.
For people like me this makes quest tracking almost useless due to how difficult it is to read.
- The ability to move the chat window would be a help. When the UI settings are set to their 114% maximum it is almost impossible to fit in the action bars for those who need icons that are large enough to see. The quest bars do not currently sit under the chat window like they used to so they end up covering the chat window even with the chat window set to its lowest size possible which in itself is an issue for those who struggle with their sight.
So being able to raise the chat window a little to accommodate the action bars would be a help.

It is currently impossible to fit in all of the elements that are needed with scaling that is set to 114%. When everything is in place there is no room for the party frame or raid frame which makes grouping a real pain. Healing becomes a real pain in the butt when raid frames drop below the chat window.
-
The amount of screen real-estate that is taken up by the UI with the scaling set to its maximum is far too much. It makes it difficult to see visual queues for things like incoming AOE attacks and also makes it difficult to see some enemies that are hidden behind UI elements.
In many ways it appears that Blizzard did little to no testing for the new UI elements with the settings for UI scaling set to their maximum and that is on a standard 22" monitor with a native resolution of 1920x1080.
i want to have targets target target, like in z_perl, which hasnāt been updated for this patchā¦and I miss the other addon classic action barsā¦
