Yup… getting 6-8 rating for a win and losing 19 or more is borderline depressing. Makes me want to quit my sub.
i should have used my luck on euromillions instead of farming mogs on multiple chars

That is completely untrue … I started fresh on blitz and had 6-0 in a row i think that is a pretty decent winstream to increase your MMR right? 6-0 is a great palcement start… well NO i kept getting matched with team MMR of 1390-1400 … enemy team was always 100 mmr higher than us… how is that even possible after 6 wins in a fu******row to still have 1390 mmr?

my sub is running out in 9 days and i don’t think im going to renew it tbh, not until the rating system is fixed, because i keep getting dumb players that don’t do objectives, it makes my blood boil litterly, im stuck at 1600 rating because of this
I’ve read somewhere there are 20 placements games not sure if its right tho as i dont play.
This litteraly, I’ve been stuck as well 2 weeks ago impossible to get past 1k6 like the dk said.
Only group with max exp people 1k4, other donkey doing hk and litterzly ignore to kill efc or take orbs etc…
Ofc people made joke of me, I’m bad etc… And all of a sudden a week after I climb normally, people get to play the objective, think about stuff etc… In both team btw.
I think once you played x amount of games you are placed somewhere where you can actually progress at some point.
But ngl it’s so tilting to not have the information.
Im stucked with my monk at 1800 but i was about at 1900 with 2,3k mmr 
so who knows how system works?
You should never be in a situation when you win 2-3 games and gain 0-0-10. And then lose one game and loose 15-20.
Ever.
This kind of scenario isn’t even totally hypothetical. It’s happening. Play for potentially 3hours+ win more games than lose, and lose 5 rating….
They system of scoring needs overhauled.
This is the pit you want to do anything in your power to stay out of, your mmr being drastically lower than your cr, once you’re in that mmr pit, there is almost no getting out save for an insane win streak.
There isn’t a universe where you cannot crush 1600 players 1v2 and take objectives from under their noses if you are significantly better than them.
Probably not what you wanted to hear however.

Iirc I did about 28 games on Demonology at the start of the season? Went 24-3 and drew 1.
By the time I got bored and gave up I was still queueing into 1300-1400 MMR lobbies literally every game, bar two. Those two were in the mid 1800s. The first I won, only to go straight back into 1300 matches. The second I lost, same outcome.
Placement games my ___. Maybe the MMR system works now but it didn’t when I tried it. A shame too, because I actually kind of enjoyed it until I realised that I was completely wasting my time. Demo might legitimately be the worst spec to try and play in Blitz though lmao.
I can also give my input that after switching spec from 2,4k mmr I have now reached the pinnacle of 1,5k mmr with 16-3 win-loss with the other spec.

Never heard of getting random (non-viable) team comp? Huh? Guess we are playing wrong game.
Well of course it’s a joke mode for fun, you can’t seriously impact a game with 15 other players enough to consistently make difference and climb.
Now, I’m not saying that your performance doesn’t impact your rating, but luck factor is very prominent in this mode to the point where you shouldn’t stress too much about it and just play for fun, and eventually lucky win streak will happen and you will skyrocket to 2.4k MMR.
Over 60 or so games I played in that mode my MMR was jumping from 2.400 to 1600 then back to 2300 then down to 1700 again over win/lose streaks. It’s just so inconsistent that it’s hard to take this mode seriously.
Either way, the big plus of BG blitz is that queues are short and games go fast. Just don’t get depressed when lose streak happens and keep playing - win streak will come eventually, sooner or later.
