Unable to start DFC m+ key

Hello all,
I ran into a weird issue today, first tim this has happened to me.
Was playing on my alt and trying to run a +6 DFC, gathered a group as normal and went inside the dungeon. The keystone (DFC+6) goes into the keystone slot as intended, but when pressing activate nothing happens.
Tried reloading, restarting Wow, having the whole party head out of the dungeon to reset, but still the same issue.
Anyone else had the same problem and got a fix?

Hi Butchering,
i have the same problem with my monk since yesterday.
I want to start gearing him, run to the panda to get a +2 keystone (it was DFC).
After that i was searching members for the group and as we entered the dungeon and i put in the keystone to click “activate” nothing happens at all.
We went outside several times to reset the dungeon and tryed again but nothing happens. I wrote a bug yesterday and tryed out 5 min ago if i can start the keystone yet. But nothing happend.

Would be great to get something to fix it.

Same here, still stock with a DFC key that can’t be started, now both on main and alt.

Hey there,

If anyone is still seeing this, can you please try disbanding the group, leaving and resetting the instance, and then reforming and give it another go?

EDIT: And also check the difficulty setting, see post below for more info:

Hi,

no that did not help. Deleting the Keystone and getting a new one fixed it for us.

Just had the same issue in a +10 Darkflame, disbanding and restarting did nothing. I also wasnt able to queue my group for keys. When I would click on a group in the dungeon finder to join nothing would happen. I had to make someone else leader to be able to apply to join groups.

Is there any mention of a fix for this?

Same issue here today in a +10 DFC.
Did everything said in the blue response and it didnt help.

How did you delete it? I’m having the same problem, blue post didn’t solve it. DFC +10

EDIT: Solved the issue by changing the Dungeon difficulty to Mythic. It was set on Normal. It worked but it would be a good idea for the game to return a message like “Dungeon difficulty not on Mythic”

Having the same issue with my +2 DFC

My key is not deleteable.
“This item cannot be destroyed”

The dungeon was maybe in HC. Even in HC mode the key receptacle is present. Go out and switch to mythic resolve the issue.

Still an issue. DFC 6+. Reinviting and resetting didnt work.

Thanks for the continued reports everyone, the bug has been found!

As some noted above already, this is being caused by the dungeon difficulty setting, where the keystone pedestal (Font of Power) is incorrectly appearing in all difficulties of Darkflame Cleft.

Given that its presence is already indication that the difficulty should be correctly set to Mythic, I’m guessing most players aren’t double checking that part.
