DK is the biggest beneficiary of the current meta because his defense against magical damage is really strong, maybe even a bit too strong. But his defense against physical damage is just incredible bad, especially for its class design!
In case the meta shifts over to physical damage, DK would drop instantly to B or even C tier.

There are many sin rogues in 2v2 Eu bracket in the top 1000, true. But keep in mind people play the class also because it is an iconic one. There are a lot of rogues because the class and gameplay is fun not because they want to abuse it in arena. I created this guy before I knew if it would be viable or not.
That is only half true. Classes and specs that bypass DKs defense completely are Ferals, Rogues, Warriors, WW, BM Hunter, MM Hunter and 80% demo locks.
Versus those specs, death strike is basically the only thing you have but its healing is already so weak after the nerfs and all of them have MS effects, that you have terrible times there.

solo shuffle ranks u on a ladder with players of the same specc. not every dk is above 2.4.
if u truly think its possible to be 2.5k rating currently because of specc then idk what to tell u. try it urself and end up hardstuck 1.8k at best.

This is not the experience for my rogue. Their healer tops them off and my death mark barely tickles them. They absorbs a lot of my nature damage and the bleeds are not enough. Their gargoyle alone is out damaging my top 3 spells on details.

idk where u get ur information. i have duelist in any sl season. and i also played uhdk as main in sl s1 when it was arguably the worst melee specc in the game.
I would say it takes skill and coordination to play against a rogue / mage, trinket something wrong and you are out of the game forever while they stunlock your friend
People play rogue cause it is a griefer and coward class. You will get out every time you mess up.
Once you committed to a go as dk you have no way of getting out when you overcharged.
As a rogue if you bite off more than you can chew you always have vanish. Now even 2 charges.
So don’t come here and tell people play rogue because it is an iconic class. People play it cause it is the strongest 1v1 class. And if they overcharge they can always get away with their life.
Rogue is not the strongest 1v1 class. This is a myth. Feral is the strongest 1v1 class.
People play rogue because it actually is iconic, and fun and thrilling to play. People don’t like boring walking zombies, hence the numbers.
This is also a myth that rogue can just reset forever. You can do that only as sub and even then vs a dk you cannot stay in stealth as the dots will take you out.
Even fury war can decimate a rogue in 1v1 right now, especially if you are sub.
You do not have to reset as a DK, that is just not a DK fighting principle. Proving my point, you just zug until the other people are dead.
Just because there are some rogue gods out there does not mean that DK is balanced. Keep in mind the class was nerfed and it still out damages my rogue numbers with pets alone. I have top gear and I do not fail on my “rotation”. I will post some details pics soon.
