What does this mean?
It means that it will no longer appear in searches or on the front page. Only those with active links will be able to read or post on it.

In other words, with this new format they have going, they can effectively censor and silence players/certain topics that they dislike, even if they’re not against the TOS.

There was 3 topics with near enough same title as yours op which where all put together then it turned into the usual slanging match.

I was curious so I went on the Discourse website to look it up
Unlisted
When a topic is “Unlisted” this has the following impact:
- Prevents the inclusion of the topic for normal users in “lists”, this includes:
- Homepage / “latest” list.
- Unread topics list.
- Disables inclusion in digest emails.
- Can only be accessed via a direct link of an unlisted topic.
- Is not Google-indexable (but if it has already been indexed it may remain available for quite some time)
Basically erasing it from history.
Not creepy or control obsessed at all.
