[Updated 24/4] Kick The War Within Season 2 Into Turbo Boost 14 May!

What a surprise, Blizzard showing once again how out of touch they are with their community. I don’t want to get back into mythic raiding, I quit it for a reason… Dinars sounded like a great way to get the 1 or 2 items I needed from the raid, but on heroic difficulty it won’t be worth it. Thanks for nothing I guess : - )

this could have kept the season going - now it is just done for anyone not clearing myth raid

This is awful. We don’t want a kill gated dinar vendor. What is wrong with you.

:rage:

Just implement the same useful system we’ve had in the past.

the only good thing here imo is extra item/crafted upgrades with so many ppl are struggling with mythic due to numbers ppl were hoping that the chips would let them get the gear that they need mow that all the good look thats even worth going for is locked behind killing bosses that the majority will never get to do seems such as waste of a imp limitation.

blizz is like a parent thats fed up with their child pestering them for something then gives in and gives the child what the want but also take the fun out of the child having it

Worthless make it myth and all items or don’t bother you have screwed up the patch with bugs making it unplayable on launch.
you time gate all the content. and now you ruin the only thing still in the pipe.
FIX IT let us buy MYTH track raid gear the race is over let the rest of us play also else remove all accounts outside of the top 10 RWF guilds raid members and let them play if those are the only ones you cater to.

like WHYYYYY you hate your playerbase sooo much??? why do you have to always choose to do the most spiteful thing possible to piss everyone off.

you say you drop dinars on may 13th but in reality, we can only get our 1st item on may 27th. . . whats the point? more time gated content to force ppl to do weekly raids bosses.

you lock myth track items behind boss kills so basically destroy the whole point of the value of the dinars.

worst possible way to give the content people have been asking, just do bullions like in Dragonflight S4 its already so long after the season started nobody cares who gets a couple items on myth track that are actually good

so much this just give us this back

Not only are you making dinars worse, you are also making it really timegated? Way to go blizz. You really lost touch of the playerbase and refuse to listen on what we want. The hype for this patch is dead, all we was waiting for was DF dinar system so we could have more fun in the game. Just let us get a s4 DF version of dinars. And also fix the bugs, lagspikes and fps drops while your at it.

I don’t think I’ve ever commented on a forum post; but to read this after the season started on March 4th, so since March 4th, people have been planning their dinar acquisition items around the idea of obtaining 1 or 2 items from the raid (as we were informed the Dinars were removed from the renown).

Weeks go by, almost two months, go by with no transparency on how dinars would be approached for people who only do M+ content and those players have meticulously planned their vaults around the slots they would use for their Dinars and then you pull the carpet from under almost every single M+ player, only opening the door for bad luck protection for Mythic Raiders? At this point, even AotC raiders are being punished, because by the time of the acquisition of their first Dinar item, it will be early June, by the acquisition for the second item, it will be end of June/early July? So what does that mean for raid guilds who only do HC and have the loot they need? The Dinars are nothing but a transmog idea?

What we had in the S4 of Dragonflight was perfect, everyone was happy, on one track fully upgradeable and then any spare Dinars were used for any transmog people wanted.

As this is an event, this currently implies anyone outside of the parameters of this event will then be permanently stuck behind everyone who also partakes in this event and will be unable to further upgrade items either because they have been unlucky with their vaults, or again, planned around the Dinar system, which frankly deserves more transparency and I’m actually shocked that something like this would go without any communication to the player base. - yet foregoing these extra upgrade tracks, because they either did not play during this six week “event” or if they rerolled to a character, thus being permanently behind post event?

I don’t know, this actually sounds and feels quite awful - seems purely like bad luck protection for mythic progression raiders only and that’s actually a buzzkill especially considering how late these items are obtainable in this season.

No wonder they didn’t want to release any info about dinars. They knew it would piss off the playerbase.

I did think the long silence was very strange. Usually I only stay silent if what I am going to say will upset people.

This cant be right.
They are gonna have to change it else the dinar system doesnt make sense.

M+ runners are Effed if they dont raid mythic then.
Heroic raid is fine to pug, but you cant really pug mythic. So if i need bombsuit as a tank at max ilvl to push M+, then i need to clear a mythic raid.

That makes absolutely no sense at all.
We get myth gear from our vault for doing 10s.

Were restricted to only 6 dinars per char anyway, why not just let us get myth track gear then?
Its not like we can buy full mythic set. And so what if a 610 char jumps around with a myth track Jester ring or house of cards.

Wow staff, you need to change this.

This is only a Turbo Boost for Booster and their Money. They want Player to buy Tokens for their Boost.
This Game is going to be a big Joke.
I will Not renew my subscription for this patch.

Sorry but it’s so baaad implementation like the DF one was perfect (you play your way to upgrade the item). This is done by people who don’t play the game. The results is just clear : you just boost boosters !!! Shame on you. Listen the community, you have time to change this ugly system

By the way, it’s a shame.

3 weeks ago you could actually use this announcement as a April fools joke.

So as per usual M+ players get shafted with rusty rod

You always have to consistently ruin the things working best and make them worse, yeah? Yet you can not make worse things good as well. This is why you are losing your player base too…

Somehow, mistakenly, you brought everyone back with a surprisingly good launch of a new expansion pack, but then you are ruining it with stupid decisions too… Blizzard, I am so tired of you…

This is a strange implementation with a restriction that i can see the mythic boss kill sellers benefiting greatly from. Those guilds might just have to run split boost raids with the likely increased demand.

On the player end it just feels “meh” to have something around the midpoint of a season, where most who stay running M+ end up filling every slot with myth track vault or crafted items, be more of slight bad luck protection than something to look forward to.
One of the bigger problems for anyone doing M+ is getting good raid trinkets, thanks to how much better those trinkets are than most dungeon options, without getting themselves on a raid team and setting aside 3 - 4 evenings a week (2 if you’re lucky).

This just doesn’t hit well for anyone but maybe the mythic raiders with bad luck who get the boss kills later into the season. For the rest it’s at best an “eh, guess i’ll grab my heroic trinket now at least” kind of deal.
Well, that and the guilds selling mythic boosts will have a field time earning gold.
