[UPDATED] Tune in June 9 for a live Shadowlands Update!

How about some action instead of useless corporate brand management Blizz?

Maybe you should donate some of that moolah you have to the ACLU or NAACP or any of the memorial funds that are set up for the victims of police brutality in the United States.

To hell with your postponement. The outrage of the month shouldn’t affect video games. Why do we have to wait longer, just because some people are protesting somewhere?

" More important voices than ours "

That’s adorable, it almost makes you think they legitimately care but then you remember Hong Kong and what a bunch of hypocrites they are.

Maybe they learned? Or perhaps punishing people for breaking the rules is not a bad thing?

They haven’t. They just know that the US won’t ban them for making political statement unlike Hong Kong and China.

They haven’t, profits are what they care about and that will never change, if they believed in the rights of the citizens of Hong Kong they would of stood up and said something, they choose to punish Blitzchung and support China.

They’re not the first company to do that either, the NBA did it as well, profits in China are more important than people’s lives to Blizzard, Bobby Kotick wouldn’t have it any other way.

And I take it the walkout of Blizzard employees was something you missed? They may work for Blizz, but people there do actually give a damn.

I hate to break it to you, the employees aren’t the ones who call the shots, their opinions are irrelevant to people like Bobby Kotick, how naive are you seriously?

First off: #FireBobbyKotick

Second, you said Blizzard do not care. And last I checked, the employees are also a part of Blizzard. And you are complaining about the WoW team for being hypocrites when a WoW stream is postponed, and comparing them to an event that they likely had NOTHING TO DO WITH.

At the end of the day: damned if they do, damned if they don’t. They can’t win because you won’t let them.

I agree

Activision Blizzard have over 9000 employees yet only 30 of them walked out to support Hong Kong, are they part of the company? Yes but does their opinion matter and do they call the shots? No, they do not.

If you’re naive enough to believe everything Blizzard tell you, then, I hope you wise up because you won’t get far in the real world, if you honestly think they postponed the stream because of a legitimate concern for BLM and it’s beliefs then I’ve got a chocolate tea pot for you to buy.

They’ve brought that on themselves, some companies higher ups stand up for what they believe in even if it’s detriment to their profits, CDPR for example, Blizzard act like they care when it benefits them, they’re a corporation at the end of the day and the sole purpose of that is to make profit even if you have to step on everyone in the process.

They damned themselves and their image from my PoV.

Fact of the matter is, there are people at Blizz who do indeed give a damn about both Hong Kong and this. The executives may see it as a PR move, which it likely is, but I do believe that the WoW team had the actual good intentions at heart to do it. That’s how I see it.

Will you announce a Shadow Priest revamp?

It is about time, yes. He is definitely no Satoru Iwata. God bless his poor soul, he didn’t deserve to die like this.

While Bobby Kotick is a corporate sleaze, firing him wouldn’t change anything…
Another just like him would take his place…

For every Satoru Iwata this world has, there’s a thousand Bobby Kotick’s…

I really could use some distraction this time around due to Covid-19 among other this. So I’m actually quite angry that they are postponing this event because of some events that take place on the other side of the globe.

Even if I personally sympathize with the cause, I had no quarrels how Blizzard handled the blitzchung-incident.
The reason why is because I actually agree with Blizzards statement that this isn’t a politicial platform. But this goes both ways, Blizzard ought to practice what they preach. Otherwise they will lose the trust of their own fanbase and that is really bad business.

Furthermore, I would argue that when you postpone an event. You should also provide a new date that fans can look forward to. Preserving the hype is great marketing.
