The only praise I saw was for the original endless mode, and then the Twisting Corridors. I only remember seeing concerns that the wings that we have now would likely put people off doing Torghast altogether (which seems to be happening).
The irony of a tank spec class coming here to say it.
Torghast was tuned awfully in more ways than one, blizzard is adressing it here. If a person is raid geared at 200ilv, maybe they are actually supposed to do the higher levels succesfully instead of facing an impossible floor boss midway designed to chew fury warriors for lunch due to lack of interrupt.
Not quite: you get to run through 18 floors and then you’re done. You can go back in at a higher starting difficulty but I don’t think that it yet will scale endlessly.
My problem is still that elites don’t drop anima cells. Seriously, make it harder and give actual rewards for the tough encounters. Maddening isn’t it?
Some faith restored. Sounding a lot better, so thanks. Now if you’d add even just anima into the rewards (though I miss the potential loot tbh) I’ll bother with above layer 1.
Well, 18 floors is quite a lot already. So… Why people are QQing here about layer 8, floor 1-6 ?.. I mean, 6 is like 1/3 of 18, right ?.. So if we were to compare that to raiding… Let’s see…
LFR - 0/3
normal - 1/3
heroic - 2/3
mythic - 3/3
So, if you’re LFR level, you do torghast up to floor 5, I guess, and layer 8 floor 6 is like normal difficulty.
To be fair, I think the main issue about that is that 35 anima is a rather poor reward for a M+ run. I am sure it would not feel as bad if the amount of anima rewarded was higher. 250 anima per M+ run would be much more reasonable in my opinion.
You are forgetting about their joy of bragging in forums how they globalled boss in 3 seconds and spitting on everyone who didnt. Ego is a powerful drug.
Those people are starved for exclusivity and will do everything to get it. They dont want you to get those legendaries.
