It’s a pretty good one, just a shame for the massive cooldown!
The Illusion Parchments added in Dragonflight are a worthy addition to the list, I think. They’re consumed on use but tradeable and easily bought for cheap on the AH. They come in most elemental spells, but require a player target to cast the projectile onto.
Similarly, on parchments and scrolls, the BFA scroll vendors (Tortollan mostly) sell the below:
Scroll of Inner Truth - Makes you float and meditate, like the Zen Flight ability for Monks.
Scroll of Torga’s Swiftness - Makes you move VERY slowly.
Not sure if this has been linked before, but this has a little visual effect of throwing some sand!
Love that new things get added even as we’re nearing the end of the expansion!
I’ve added the ones missing above to the list, and I’ve been poking around on the alpha already for some viable trinkets! Got some entries with very good potential that I’ll add in due time!
The Mini Mana bomb obtainable once more in Remix should also be here. For mage type chars
I’ll be adding a few new ones from TWW once prepatch comes around now that the beta allows for testing them all at once!
I was reminded of this since the Midsummer Festival is currently going on and therefore these are obtainable right now — the Fire Festival Batons add a fire effect to your hands with a 15 min duration against a 15 min CD.
Be warned, mounting, attacking or using abilities will cancel it.
Nearly there for TWW! Haven’t seen any further trinkets since the last update but there are some extremely useful toys coming very soon!
I would guess this would belong in this thread?
‘Gleeful Glamour’. They are made by the Enchanting Profession. These ‘Scrolls’ permit the user to transform into the race that the scroll is made for.
I mean, scrolling trough them currently was quite a list already.
Thank you for that. Let’s hope with the new expansion it won’t get to overwhelming.
With War Within less than two weeks away, I’ve gone ahead and added the new trinkets and toys that are coming with the expansion! There’s still several missing that I spotted but can’t recall the names of or couldn’t test, but here’s a list of my current highlights!
List
- Cave Spelunker’s Torch - Wield a torch, lighting up its surroundings.
- Arathi Book Collection - Conjure an entire desk with books to read from.
- Infiltrator’s Shroud - Transform into a void ethereal.
- High Speaker’s Accretion - Create a cosmic void orb at a location, which bursts after a few moments.
- Tome of Light’s Devotion - Conjure a paladin libram beside the user for a few moments.
I recently had Satchel of Healing Spores drop for me. It places a green cloud over someone for 12 seconds. Could be used by druids, or since it kind of looks like fire, fel users.
…I’ve completely forgotten the name of the item, but you can buy up to 20 candles from this woman in Mereldar, and place those wherever you want! A very beautiful item.
(…I’ll go hunt the name of it tomorrow if someone hasn’t already stepped in with it by then )
For those holy types:
Signet of the Priory (class & spec agnostic):
Tome of Light’s Devotion (prot specced classes):
Both drop from the Priory and have a little animations attached with them.
And in contrast for all you void gamers:
Shadowed Essence (trinket)
High Speaker’s Accretion (trinket)
There’s a new item called Holy Candle that could be nice for roleplay scene decoration, such as for ceremonies. It has a 5 minute cooldown and is sold by Paige Ambleglow in Hallowfall.
Use: Decorate an area with an Arathi Candle that persists for fifteen minutes.
Dont bother getting this, the animation only happens while in combat, and only visible to you and nobody else.
