You just need a level 10 char. The EU sub covers US posting privileges.
Because they are typically superior.
If they’re looking for someone to tell them which buttons to press, class discords and icy veins are good. But for understanding a spec to the point of being able to make decisions, wowhead and the forums provide a less bias and more diversity.
That speculation is a bunch of nonsense. Overwatch forums have different regional versions too and you can post wherever you like without a single headache.
Also large companies usually implement the most restrictive regulations of the regions they operate in to their company worldwide if they operate in different geographical regions.
It’s the same for all Blizzard games, kinda always has been. I feel like the US forums are more restrictive on what you can say though because I said on the OW forums 3 years ago that the developers had no clue what they were doing and got permanently banned for it…
I flamed the ever living poop out of Ion on the US forums. While also having yellow text. Nothing happened.

and also class forums are alive! not like in EU! here are almost only dead pants!
I agree with Victorica though. Overwatch US forum moderation is actually insane and toxic. It’s one of the reasons i don’t post there alot anymore and really shifted my opinion of the company a bit. The moderation at the EU OW forums is way less oppressive and threads that get deleted on US, easily stay up on EU.
Probably the OW mods being more agressive then. As far as WoW is concerned the moderation is lackluster in every single one of their forums.
Rather have more aggressive moderation than letting fascists posting their propaganda on the forum and it staying up for several days.

so I don’t understand what you mean. but sick and inhumane content is praised by those. I’m sure I won’t go into detail here.
Anyone who thinks the US forums are better moderated is going to be sorely disappointed…
I do not care about the Moderation.
what I care about is if you come up with and idea that could fix your Class or improve… Make more fun to play.
You can make a in game suggestion… Not knowing if blizzard ever see it… and it can only be 500 words long.
On the forum you can make a Topic “Ideas to Fix Demon hunters” get 1-3 Reply on EU Class forum but 50-100 on US. its just more alive.
Fine we could keep the Forum connection limited to Class/PTR/Test realm/PVP and keep the General as it is… so that all that non sens political stay in the US.
Would like to make a idea for my class and get feedback from other DH’s… OH! its good or no TY its bad… what if we did this or that… and so on…
Right now its 1-3 Reply and post dies… I could use the Discord but are blizzard on that as well?.. Or is that only players. Never used it.
im not looking for advice on how to play my class. But trying to come up with ideas to fix the Broken talent tree… Maybe a way to make it more fun…
I do not have the Free time to play on multi alts, so I only Play 1 char. and do not wanna re roll when something is broken… when I can come with suggestions to fix it.
Witch is hard with a 500 word limit in game and no feedback from others… Like am I lost or is it a good idea. Witch is why the Class forum… But when the post dies in a few days in EU the entire subject dies. Could add things trying to keep the topic alive like what about this or this… But when no feedback then its Meh

so heaps of trolls and their own forum bots report all topics with truth. and then it will most likely be simply deleted by another bot and the user will be banned.
i don’t think anyone reads anything there at all. it’s probably something like chatgpt.
That was likely the case in the past. Right now, I believe it is mostly for technical reasons. The game was developed with the region separation in mind, and it is hard to unite them without significant technical effort. Newer Blizzard games don’t have that problem.
So its likely a quirk of that design. Technical debt.
If this post was about the moderation of EU vs US then yes I would be interested too… but that’s not what the topic was about…

The class forums/PTR/pvp forum even in US it mostly clear from political stuff and mostly about class.
Other class forums in EU might have alot of life don’t know… I play DH so that’s where I check/post ideas about DH’S. But a topic Dies fast due to the lack of reply comperet to US forums.
If you came with a idea on Monk class forums it might die fast or live… but getting feedback from anyone is still better that just getting half that plays the same class.
Only looking at EU/US not Asia.
Then why aren’t we forced to have one battle net account for each region?
