I always thought 2 bolts could be casted in a coil. Don’t always assume things they’re not, just like to seem love doing from what I have read so far from you.
Haste profiles you used, amazing, now use broader data. You could have used lootdistrict pages, 22% haste until 2K2+ where it’s 23% onwards. No idea why you felt the need to get a value out fo your hat. methodology mistake.
If you have another source, feel free to do so but saying, and I quote : “Lets take an average of 25% base haste based on the leaderboards.”. From the heck where?
I don’t recall you talking about weapon enchants too, so you forgot a bit of data here. Would actually have helped you even further.
Also, did you precise how to convert haste to haste %? Where is the raw value? I had to look it up. Methodology mistake. You’re not clear enough.
No need for snarky remarks nobody is interested in, if you want to pretend you want to stick to the facts, do it, just expose math, explain your equations with all variables explained. It was a pain to follow through it.
A smarter way to convey your point would have been to probably calculate 3 flash points + entropy based on 22 or 23% haste on a 2.1s chaos bolt, consider or not if you wanted to add a specific enchant -but at least talk about it-, and then consider overwhelming power as X and find out how much overwhelming power was needed to get 2 bolts within a coil after gcd. Could be 0, could max stacks. I still have no idea how many stacks are good enough. WOuld have been interesting.
Guess that was too much.
So yeah, was sloppy, badly written but I didn’t comment since that part of the thread was none of my problem. I thought whisperer was wrong this time, hence I didn’t add anything.
I just dislike people now saying shadenox treatment, when that treatment is just throwing obscur numbers, forgetting data, and pulling others from the hat. I don’t see how I should be scared of that.
So yeah, loling at this treatment, give it to me babe.
I preferred WoD demon, legion was okayish because some powers were sitll coming from the lock rather than the pets.
I just dislike the complete zoo play style right now, it’s like we, the summoners, are not using our ressources. In legion we had demon wrath and TKC to interact with what we were summoning, and doom was actually meaningful, and glare was nice and fun. IIRC was a 24 sec cd? Also empowerment, idk, found it decent with instant SB
I don’t remember who, but I remember it surprised me. And it’s not 4s, it’s 7s of Vendetta if it procs + you reduce the CD, and it gets even more value with thr NP trait (it procs on Vision and since you Vendetta more often it will also deal damage more often) and if the guy dispels it you have Maledict waiting.
It must be very match-up dependant though as I only saw it a couple times both in the last AWC and at the summer cups.
The question was wether it is possible or not. I took haste values of top players because we’re not wondering if a random 1.8 pleb can do it but of it’s possible. To that end I used haste values top warlocks with optimized gear have. The answer is it’s possible. Which doesn’t mean you with your gear can do it. IT. IS. POSSIBLE. End of the debate !
Because it wasn’t needed ? This is called overkill. If you do a thorough demonstration you don’t add data that brings nothing to the table. You use what is both necessary and sufficient, nothing less and nothing more. It is possible without enchant. So we don’t mention enchant. Just like I didn’t mention one warlock in the first pages has so many sockets and TFs he has 32% haste so it’s even easier for him even with OP decay.
Not necessary since I told how much haste was what % directly taken from the game user interface (best proof possible then). Flooding the forum with yet another formula when the game gave the values already is stupid.
Which is exactly what I did when I stated the haste value of 3 flashpoints, 3 OP, added 25 and 15 for reverse entropy. You do have the haste value for 3 FP written, taken from the game itself.
Of course I didn’t waste my time doing it for each stack value. It’s barely possible with max stacks. Now I’m letting people do what they will with that info. I’m sure every person having attended school and knowing basic maths understands that with a couple more % haste (which some warlocks have on ladder) OR with an enchant OR trinket it is possible despite the decay and I was confident said adults wouldn’t need me to figure that out. See, you were able to guess without me.
Taken from in game trait tooltips and char sheets. Maybe we should tell blizzard their numbers are too obscure for Khanzod.
I swear, BfA’s conclusion and stunning plot twist is going to be the revelation of Whisperer actually being N’zoth, and him being the villain of the next expansion!
Bruh cmon fel lord was good for 1 season til blizzard started to nerf tge damage and eventually the hp for some reason n yeah legion demo was somewhat ok but ig could have been better design with Thal’kiel’s setup
Well even in its fully nerfed state fellord was a good ability and something you should fear of, I didn’t mind the damage nerf since with vortex fellord could still deliver a good ammount of damage, the ho thingy was nonsense (it would be justified if it would have been count towards TC dmg).
Tc was good, I loved it, since you could oneshot people with it, just like with the wod demonbolt+2 chaos weave.
Even tho legion demo had some issues it was still better than the emo zookeeper what we have now
