Vulpera players would propably love your suggestion to be fair… It’s just me that don’t wanna give the ‘‘haters’’ more reason to put them into a stereo type.
If Blizzard showed some more of that Wild god fox lore. Or gave them literally any more lore at all actually. That wishing bone short story they made was good and all. But Vulpera have no lore representation what so ever, For anything.
Your examples for different fur colors are sound and good.
But give them anime hair styles and all. And they are pretty much cemented into the furry stereo type. It wouldn’t look or feel very Warcraft at all left and it would be beyond recovery.
But not going to lie… Allot of them would probably like that allot. I am just not one of them.
A shame not more of them are here to voice their wishes. I hope im not the reason or scaring them away. If so… I swear it, I will not reply or go against anyone’s wishes.

Let’s be honest, no matter what Vulpera get the haters will hate. Same with the Tauren, pandas, and worgen.
Unfortunately there was something bad that happened in argent dawn with a few Vulpera roleplayers that left a bad taste and now all Vulperas are stereotyped with this, even the ones who weren’t involved.
Believe me I am very… Very! Well aware. But that was like you said a few vulpera roleplayers. And its not a secret that a race like this attracts a certain type of players. Just like Lalafel in final fantasy does.
Hence why I keep harping on and on about why Blizzard should have made them more horde looking and less Disney blabla and more bla
Some of these Roleplayers in general don’t care about the rest of us who play Vulpera… And how what they do and say looks like, And do to the rest of us.

In the Horde you have 2 Barbie elves, a cow, a panda, and now a talking fox.
Pretty sure the horde stopped having a stereotypes after Burning crusade.
I do agree adding scars, and making them look more tough and scary is fine.
But I also agree that making them look colorful and playful doesn’t hurt either. I love small cute dogs, so I might be biased in that regard. I own a wonderful small dog that I adopted and he is very smart and friendly and cute. But can be very scary if he doesn’t get his food in time 
Anyway I’m just glad they didn’t cancel customizations.
Vulpera won’t matter outside of Bfa. Just like all Horde allied races. After Dragonflight void elves and the alliance will once again be the main focus of the plot because Blizzard is alliance biased.
I don’t think that’s true. The Nightborne recently received customization updates; and they received one just before that too.
Blizzard has never cared for Horde races. It is always alliance characters who get screentime, cinematics and plots dedicated to them.
Again I don’t think that’s true. In any case horde or not, Vulpera didn’t receive any updates whatsoever.
Now with customizations being a thing again; it’s about time we get some for the forgotten Vulpera.

Mechagnomes got an entire patch for themselves with Erazmin acting as quest giver for the Mechagon dungeon. Kiro got exposure in a single siequest and then never appeared again after. That is all you need to know about Vulpera. Blizzard will keep forgetting they exist. If you are not on eam blue lore will not treat you well.

Also, Fennecaphobia is the fear of foxes, especially those of the fennec kind. This phobia is caused because of the thought of foxes being associated with danger. However, it is also possibly caused by a traumatic attack involving a fox, or any traumatic event were foxes were somewhat involved.
Vulpera are a joke race. We should have gotten something cool instead. Like Sethrak.

More Customizations would be wonderful. : )
Vulperas tend to be very diverse characters, and it would be nice if we had more things to toy with at the barber shop, to fit that need.
The tiny personal wishlist:
- The option of “fox eyes”. (slits)
- The option of wearing shoes.
- More Fur Colors obviously.
And now the spicy stuff:
- Give decorations for the tail! Beads, charms, leather bands!
- Let us swap at our tent between heritage “hoodie” and heritage “collar”
(Or really just give the missing transmogs from Vol’Dun) - Additional faces, ears and fur patterns, reflecting a harsher life in the dunes.
Many play having had a rough life in the dunes, and it would be great if they could choose to reflect that on their characters. - I heard some people expressing the wish for an option of a shorter tail. Like female pandaren can choose for their tails.
- The heritage is full of nice trinkets, give some nice decorations also as cosmetic option for our heads. Like more diverse earrings or beads.
I really hope we do not get entirely forgotten by the reworks.
We Vulpera are doing fine, but we possibly could do better with some nice additional stuff.
