Thank you so much. After 2 days searching and getting crazy (same problem on my PC and on my iMac) you saved my life ! Thanks for sharing this
This was great, Thanks!
Thanks! Was driving me crazy. Even removed all Blizzard games etc… A well, back to downloading.
So , I’m having this issue for the last 6 months it started randomly 1 day after many years of playing. I tried -Dx11 augmented thing , doing bunch of Qos/PortForwarding/Dns servers releasing renwing clearning dns fresh installation of wow / different disk / formatting the main disk starting over , admin running / reinstalling battle.net over and over , adding exception , restarting pc with no antivirus and no firewall/windows security , tried so many stuff including this outbound you suggested which did not help … I even tried re routing from the router WAN after diagnosing some of the WinMTR results which was not GOOD! , it seems the only fix for me is launching game with VPN , it will launch in 10 seconds always works for me . Even the ISP could not help me they claiming the traceroute is fine until it leaves their side and the issue is somewhere in the middle on Blizzard side . IF any of you have any other idea what else I could try to fix it without launching game with VPN every time on/off VPN everytime just to launch the game is not fun specially when you pay for the game and try to enjoy it , sometimes i get crash in middle of something and its really awful!
Just for information: I (re)disabled the firewall rule and everything seems back ok…
Edit: NVM, need to re-enable the firewall rule, same symptoms.
Lockzilla, if you did this for the agent.exe, then the rule will need to be updated as Battle.net changes directories after every agent update. I already notice at least one dir change since I started using the rule.
