Well yes for me on my server, it is low pop and RP. A lot of others like Silvermoon I think(?) not so much. People are always taking time off then saying they can’t play and I think every single time… why wouldn’t you wait a week?!
Honestly it’s great for me, won’t need to take time off work to be able to level with my friends and might be able to find the time to level an alt at the start as well instead of halfway through season 1.
I mean, you do you. I don’t care about Gold in this game.
I care about good story, music, art, gameplay, rewards and roleplay. Nothing more, nothing less.
Crafting is optional for me. I use it to fill slots I have issues to upgrade or when (like in DF) certain re-usable weapons are available to upgrade each season.

I have no issues with other people having three days of early access, three days isn’t going to give people such an advantage that everyone else will be behind for the remainder of the expansion.
It was bad enough when DF first opened up and getting the boat to the dragon isles ended up with numerous disconnections, this could alleviate that issue, even if its less disconnections than before.
It’s 3 day’s this expansion, they are just testing the waters. If they’d get away with it without much pushback now, You can bet it’ll be expanded in future.

I think it took me about an hour to finally get onto the ship without disconnecting on the loading screen.
I do think it’s an unethical practice that is becoming increasingly popular. I feel it is predatory in nature and exploits the very FOMO that publishers and developers have been fostering.
For me, playing at the start of a new expansion with friends is always the highlight that I don’t want to miss out on, and since my friends will play three days early, I will too, even though I don’t care about the cosmetics. So I suppose it works from a financial perspective, at least in the short term, but it doesn’t make me a happier customer.
Still, there is an opportunity to vote with my wallet and I didn’t seize it.

If you preorder a physical game and it arrived a couple days early would you wait for the release date?

Lets agree on turning on stream for whole three days where we just level via mining, herbalism and skinning together 
I really hate that I have to pay extra to not have the delayed start edition

It’s exactly what it is though. Base price is higher unless you want a slow start. Bet more people get the upgrade edition than ever before, but it won’t be for the goodies…

My guess is that is a safe bet. I think I’ll do what I did with DF, I had no time at launch and then when I did a month later or so it was already on sale. I’ll even you out, sort of
