I think people who dont craft or collect dont understand this issue.
But as a crafter and collector I am dissapointed in how small the warbank is.

I do think that Blizzard doesnât realise that the bulk of the wow wealth is held by a small percentage of players.
That the bulk of us are just poor.
Did you spend some time sunbathing?
I like changing stuff around regularly.
Tahâs looked different ingame for 2 days now, but the forums are often rather slow with catching up to that.
Ofc its small. How else woudl they force players to spends hundreds of euro on additional tabs ?
Is it a one time purchase thing?
If that is the case then it kind of makes sense to price it higher, as you will only unlock it once for every character of yourâs.
From what I read unlocking two tabs cost 25k in total? That sounds pretty achieveable, even for the most casual of players, and it nets you two tabs out of the four?
It sounds like a good amount of space for the investment.
It is a one time perchase.
Yes itâs a one off cost but I doubt Iâll be able to buy the last ones.
Tab | Cost |
---|---|
Tab 1 | 1,000 |
Tab 2 | 25,000 |
Tab 3 | 100,000 |
Tab 4 | 500,000 |
Tab 5 | 2,500,000 |
Total | 3,126,000 |
I have the first three, may stretch to the fourth at some point in the future. However, I donât even have that value of gold across all characters to buy the last one.
It should be like this:
Tab | Cost |
---|---|
Tab 1 | 1,000 |
Tab 2 | 25,000 |
Tab 3 | 50,000 |
Tab 4 | 100,000 |
Tab 5 | 200,000 |
Tab 6 | 300,000 |
Tab 7 | 400,000 |
Tab 8 | 500,000 |
Tab 9 | 600,000 |
Tab 10 | 700,000 |
and upwards
The jump from 500,000 to 2,5 million doesnt make any sense
I do love it when people extrapolate so that their own situation is valid for everyone. As in:
My bank isnât even full so why would anyone need more space?
Well, Iâve been playing for quite some time now and have many characters on different realms (back when realms were specifically PVP, PVE and RPG). I like to keep them up-to-date. And I like to try out the new races and classes. So I have a whole slew of characters with full banks.
I thought that this was an answer to my prayers. No more hours mailing items and mats to alts. But the Warbank is just as unwieldy. It takes hours to transfer items from the normal and regent banks and the three tabs I have got filled almost immediately.
Agreed! This warbank was a big let-down for us who have played for a long time. We need to make it alot bigger and cheaper so it can be useful.
Tab 1 and 2 are the âroofâ/max what a casual player in WoW can afford.
Tab 3⌠100k⌠thats too much.
Even if you have that kind of gold as casual, you wont spend it for just some WB tabs.
You have void storage 34 slot bags recourse bank and now a solo alt bank
I mean . .
Iâm wondering what to use mailbox for now.
No it isnât. 3 tabs is easy to get. It is only 126k.
I made a guild for my alts 7-8 years ago. Bought 8 tabs for 1/3 of what you just wasted on 3. lol
I can only by 1 and 2 (and be poor enough to not be able to repair my gear xD)
I could buy the fourth but it would pretty much clear me out of funds on my main and I really donât fancy that.
Blizzard shouldnât make things so ridiculously expensive IMO. The bulk of the player base is not sitting on great hoards of gold.
The cost of the tabs is obscene, and they could be bigger, but the main problem I have is the amount of rubbish I hoard. I need to do a mega-cleanse of bank tabs but canât face it. I even have stat scrolls in the bank that go back to WotLK or before.
Lol me too. I saved all potions, scrolls and all sort of stuff from all expansions.
But the problem is I have so many reagents and my warbank is already full of only reagents now. Reagents that I need and are worth alot of gold. (Not cooking, but mainly for leatherworking, blacksmithing, engineering, tailoring, enchanting and alchemy)
Too small to be really useful⌠and why is it on a 2 hour cooldown?
