Goblins can’t be tall, checkmate
You could at least wait until the Karesh patch to post this. Let them have their one (1) time to shine before they go back to being forgotten for the rest of the game.
See this is fair.
(though going by the height chart, a few end up sorta “taller” F’s than M’s due to not-as-pronounced hunches - Undead and Tauren)
Look Undermine is already over 11.1.5 is literally sending us back to Hallowfall, its already over, I’m just being honest about it.
Big talk from someone playing a fake race.

Big talk from someone playing a fake race.
My fake race is now the 3rd (or 4th, depending on your source) most played race in the game! Whose laughing now!

Local man brags that others are wearing the same Temu off-brand designer appearel…

not-as-pronounced hunches
We tauren don’t have hunches. We have strangely positioned heads without necks.
Whoever is the a-hole deciding to stink up the whole neighbourhood with smoke near every darn evening… I just want to talk to them.
This is likely to be an unpopular opinion… but I actually like Dracthyr.
In terms of looks, I like how they’re a completely androgynous race. And we have options to go thin, ripped and in between. Their necks need that option too. Atm they don’t, and that’s why big Dracs look a bit weird. But otherwise they’re fine.
Except the visages. Those aren’t great.
As for lore? What lore they have is fairly decent. Sometimes quite good. The biggest failure (as stated many times above), is the near total lack of serious Dracthyr NPC’s. I can’t think of any beyond Emberthal and the Sundered Flame. So yeah, that needs addressing soon.
As for RP? I’ve seen them done well. I’ve also seen them done terribly. I like to remember the good depictions more. Makes me happier, and generally less grumpy.
TLDR: Dracthyr need improving. But they have redeeming qualities, and I don’t believe they’re a lost cause. I kinda like them!

ripped
Not quite imo.
They could do with a bulkier option.
Also I need more chunky necks and a fatter head.
But yeah, I don’t dislike em.
Dracthyr get a lot of passes that no other entity in Warcraft gets and I guess the confusion this causes me leads to my fascination with how terrible they are.
I mean sure art is entirely subjective but
I don’t understand.
The lack of ability to remove all scales still grates on me. But some people like to look weird or “bad”.
Also, the shoulder/belt situation needs to get in the bin. Give me a full set, it may add to the bulk I want my character to have.
I think they’re a bit too ‘busy’. Warcraft always had a very distinct, exaggerated style to it and some of the newer playable races don’t quite manage to capture that as far as I am concerned.
Dracthyr would, visually, be fine if they could transmog properly imo.

Transmog properly, use existing races as visage.
Literally no one asked for weird, wonky not-even half elf things. And I like Dracthyr. I just use either no visage or the most human-passing one possible.
I can’t do screenshots/embeds or links, and I can’t be bothered to, but they can look decent. Just as many other races can be made to look awful, so I’m not having that argument (again) quite frankly.
I don’t really blame the developers for not expanding beyond the current options for the visages. It would be a lot of work to add every playable race as an option, not to mention also adding male and female variants. Even if they somehow did it, the expectation would be for any other new playable races to also end up as a potential option so they’d be stuck with even more extra work later on.

Just using one of the current races as the template before choosing the class sounds like an idea as sound as using the half-elf thing that borrows human or belf animation anyway. All that remains is to add draconic or elemental eyes for all the classes, and here’s the problem solved.
Making a few subtle mods to existing models sounds like way less work than building an entire new model, and options, that a lot of people seem to hate.
Stick the horns on as well and you’re golden.
