Find me a Bfa/legion demo pvp video that can top this? There’s nothing fun about any caster.

I think warlock is good class to play. They can make solid damage both in PVE or PVP. For me Warlock is my favorite class because it looks dope and I just like the mechanics of playing Warlock. Not everyone likes Warlock, but try this class and maybe you’ll love it
Well i am loving warlock, played since BC, my fav spec is affliction, i play it in raid and m+ yes i said it m+ and do great numbers.
Also played demo which is good for M+ but i am not really into the whole summon an army playstyle, but i do enjoy demo.
The toolkit of warlock is awesome i pair it with engineering, so i have speed boosts, res other people, repairs, mailboxes, my warlock is the ultimate single utility provider.
I have mained monk healing and DH in raids before, but am going back to warlock main affliction and will main in shadowlands as a necrolord.
There is nothing i dont love about warlocks maybe only that warlock seem to moan a lot lol
This is my wrath of the lich king warlock that i stopped bothering leveling it because of how boring the lock class has become. Feels less dynamic than how it used to be, i hate the idea of build up damage and then release it.
Every class boils down to two things
1, They press 4-6 buttons during their rotation
2, they ranged or not while pressing those buttons
The rest is class fantasy and animation…
I’m happy with my little lock
To me its more inportant how their cooldowns work, and how they interact with your rotation… then the rotation itselves…
On top of that, i think its very important if there is enough CC and support abilities…
Those 2 really make a huge difference for me
Affliction i fun but totally garbage in pvp.
One school of magic is not working well… i think that drain life and fear/shadow bolt should be two different schools.
Also affli warlocks not having infernal stun or root hurts them alot.
Not really. They nerfed pets so they just die all the time even as demonology
Demonlogy Warlock has to be one of my favoriteclasses, its very strong and have good spells, I enjoy playing Warlock alot. Affliction are ok not more, not close Demonlogy.
If you enjoy ruining PvP go destruction and two shot anyone without really trying, it’ll take you a good while to get the combo off because everyone will sit on you but once you get a good 2-3 seconds free you’ll one bang someone and feel great about it.
First we for anyone fun is very subjective thing. Some love interesting gameplay, with varriety of options and playstyles, some love casual easy desing and some loves big numbers. For some these things could intertwine. Right now, warlocks in all specs do not have interesting and well thought gameplay desing. It may look fun and interesting at first, before you try some high M+ keys or compedetive PvP.
Numberwise, all warlock specs could be compedetive in the raids for sure, but their desing issues will resurface in any encouther where you will be forced to move alot, even for Affli this could be bad situation.
And above all warlocks have the most problems in tech department. Demo is the live testaments how bad designed spec could be in gameplay desing areas, and in tech that should support class/spec desing.
Lock with lots of haste is just fun.
Haha Chaos bolt goes Brrt!
Fun is subjective. Warlock is fun for me.
Affli: I leveled to max with affli, don’t believe the negativity it is easy and fun. You can solo anything. A started with it in a first place because Soulscapes videos. At 120 however with the first few dungeon, I realized how bad it is in group content, so even if the playstile was fun, the underperforming damage was a turn off.
Demo is kind of boring in a normal way for me. Felguard tank instead of voidyboy and you just imp like hell. Yes imps are mobile dots. They have LoS, but you can kind of transfer them from mob to mob. The succubus build is the best one I enjoyed the most in open world content, with the drain life debuff and pleasure pvp talent. But you need to have wm on (good luck against anything +100 ilvl lol) and you cant use that in instanced pve.
Destro is ok. You are a fire mage, and thats all.
Many of you repeat that warlock has very boring rotation. Wasn’t it true even in times of first expansion? I played Walrock back then and raids/heroic instances were boring.
I did however noticed that class is very interesting in PvP.
Many classes which seem boring in PvE gets much more interesting in PvP.
Also I know that some classes which are very entertaining in PvE doesn’t get much more interesting in PvP.
I know that modern PvP is joke where in order to get high you need to play PvE in order to get gear (for start and also on very high level it is important because hardest raids provide better items for PvP than PvP itself).
I also know that in PvE you can start new character with no problem and systematically get better gear.
In PvP you would need to win against peoples who have much better gear than you what is practically impossible when difference is bigger.
Also I remember that absurds were present even in WOTLK where you needed 1800 rating in order to get gladiator weapon which required you to beat owners of that weapon with far worse equipment.
I hope that Shadowlands will fix it.
